Everything is here, like other megamalls in Prague, but there are differences. Here is a specialized cosmetics store Manufactura, a huge sports store, the official representative office of Apple - the iStyle store.

Despite the remoteness of the Metropol Zlichin shopping center from the city center (Revnicka 1, Praha 5), it is quite convenient to get to it by metro. The terminal station of the yellow line of the Zličin metro station. After exiting the surface, immediately to the left and ahead you can immediately see the traffic light and the entrance. For motorists - convenient free parking, where instead of the usual rows and places, the cities are indicated: Paris, Milan, Vienna ... Opening hours: 10-21 daily, the cinema closes at midnight.

Shopping center "Palac Flora"

The Flora shopping center is not located in the center of the capital, but this does not affect its popularity in the city. On the ground floor of the complex there is a large supermarket - "Albert" and a store of household utensils "Home&Cook". Huge area. In the center there are parking lots and restaurants with summer verandas and playgrounds. Lots of greenery. Indeed, a park. And along the perimeter stretched large and smaller shops and shopping malls. Here are IKEA, TESCO, DatArt, BABY-PARK, several stores with sports and casual wear.

The most convenient way to get there is by car, but there are not many worries for hikers. After exiting the Zličin metro station (terminal of the yellow line), you need to go to the bus stop of the same name (to the right). Find a site with the inscription IKEA / AVION and wait for the free bus, which runs on schedule at least once every 30 minutes.

Shopping center "Černá růže"

The Černá růže complex, which occupies two buildings built in 1830 and 1840, can be safely attributed to the best shopping centers in Prague. More than 50 shops and several good restaurants are open in Black Rose. Shopping center address: Na prikop 12. Opening hours are identical to the Flora shopping center.

Shopping center "Myslbek"

Myslbek is one of the first shopping centers in Prague, opened in 1996. It is located in the center on the busy street Na prikope 12, in the Praha 1 area. EUROPARK shopping center

If you have already been to the Fashion Arena, then you have clearly seen huge letters with the name of this shopping center on the right. We warn you right away, do not try to get to it on foot - this is unrealistic. The interweaving of tracks, rings and interchanges without pedestrian crossings and sidewalks will make this undertaking not only in vain, but also dangerous. It is better to return to the Depo Hostivar stop and from there take a regular bus with the inscription EUROPARK. Be careful, this bus is not free, so you must have an unexpired loan with you.

Here you will find the same variety of boutiques and brands. Of the distinctive features: a huge grocery supermarket on the 1st floor, a chic children's play area, a large clothing store, a rather large children's store. Almost all shops in the shopping center are two-story.

Many of you will agree that an important part of any vacation is shopping. For your convenience, I am talking about the main shopping centers in Prague, where you can make good purchases. I will list the malls in order of my own preferences, and write a short review about each of them.

Shopping Center Black Bridge (Centrum Černý Most)

The address: Praha, Chlumecká 765/6, metro station Cerny Most on the yellow line

This modern shopping complex opened in March 2013. It is located at the last station of the Yellow Line metro Cerny Most. There are 169 stores on an area of 82,000 square meters. Here you will find fashion brands, sports stores, home goods stores, shoe stores, cosmetics stores, and the Globus hypermarket.

When I am in this shopping center, I always try to go to see the collections of the store of Italian bags and suitcases Carpisa, women's clothing store Orsay, men's clothing stores Pierre Cardin and Pietro Filipi. Now at the beginning of autumn in the shopping center there are mass sales with good discounts, but of course with a limited size grid.

The mall also has a cinema. CineStar and many restaurants and cafes, children's corners are scattered throughout the center. In this center you can find almost everything from clothes, because of its remoteness from the center there are no crowds of tourists.

Harfa (Galerie Harfa)

The address: Praha, Českomoravská 2420/15a, metro station Ceskomoravskaon the yellow line

This shopping center is located in Prague 9 at the station metro Ceskomoravska next to the O2 Arena. It has many clothing stores Lindex, Tally-Weijl, H&M, Takko Fashion and others), shoes ( Deichmann, Ecco, CCC, Office Shoes etc.). In addition to clothing stores, the mall has a large number of sportswear stores, electronics store datart, pharmacy, perfume shop Sephora and a big supermarket Interspar.

Fast food eateries and a good sushi restaurant are available from the restaurants in Galerie Harfa. In addition to restaurants, the shopping center has five cafes Cafe Aroma, Café Emporio and others where you can drink good coffee with dessert. From entertainment there is a 5D cinema, a small bowling alley, billiards and Dinopark with dinosaurs that will surely please your kids.

Tesco (Tesco Narodni Trida)

The address: Praha, Národni 63/26, metro station Mustek on the yellow or green line or tram stop National trida

In general, Tesco is a supermarket chain, but in the center of Prague there is a Tesco shopping center, which has become very popular with our tourists. On the lowest floor there is a supermarket, which, in addition to food, sells delicious pastries. On the next floors of the shopping center there are shops with clothes, perfumes, children's clothing, toys, and appliances. I found one of my favorite Spanish women's clothing stores in this mall. Punt Roma, which I have not seen anywhere else in Prague. The last floor of the center is a paradise for housewives, it sells a lot of beautiful dishes, kitchen utensils, bed linen and towels.

Letňany (Obchodni centrum Letňany)

The address: Praha, Veselská 663, from the last metro station Letany on the red line you need to transfer to the bus that goes to the stop Tupolevova

You should definitely visit the Letňany shopping center, which is the largest shopping center in the Czech Republic. It is located on the red line, metro station Letany. There are more than 150 stores of famous brands where you can buy shoes, fashionable clothes, sporting goods, toys and health and beauty products. From entertainment in the shopping center there is a cinema, an aquatic center, a fitness club, a winter stadium, tennis courts, a children's corner, Skydive(a wind tunnel in which you can fly), in general, you can have fun and actively spend time here. Also on the territory of the shopping center is a Tesco hypermarket.

Chodov (Centrum Chodov)

The address: Praha, Roztylská 2321/19, metro station Chodov on the red line

Modern shopping center. where you can find almost everything: brand stores Michael Kors, Pandora, Zara, Marks and Spencer, Gant; cosmetics stores Douglas, Sephora, Manufaktura, L "Occitane; lingerie stores Calzedonia, Etam, Intimissimi; fitness center, banks, pharmacy, Albert hypermarket (open daily from 7:00 to 22:00). In addition, in the shopping center you can have a good snack or drink coffee after a successful shopping. The only negative, in my opinion, is the remote location from the city center, although the metro helps a lot.

Palladium (Palladium)

The address: Praha, nam. Republiky 1, metro station Namesti Republiky on the yellow line

The Palladium shopping center is located in the very center of Prague at the station. m. Namesti Republiky. On 5 floors of this modern center you will find 160 shops, 20 restaurants and cafes. All tourists visit this shopping center because they can take a break after long walks around the city and buy something interesting. There are 13 shoe stores in the shopping center, such as Bata, Office Shoes, Ecco, Deichmann, other. In the shopping center you will find many clothing stores, such as Gaudí, Calvin Klein Jeans, Marks & Spencer, Reserved, Tom Tailor, and many others. In addition to clothes, you can buy food at the Albert supermarket or go to grocery boutiques such as Seafoodshop, WineWorld wine boutique, Ráj sýrů, au GOURMAND and others. And after you get tired of shopping, take a look at the top floor, where you will find restaurants and bars for every taste.

The only negative of this center is the quick analysis of goods in it. I have repeatedly noticed how our tourists simply sweep everything that lies badly off the shelves :)

New Smichov (Novy Smichov)

The address: Praha, Plzeňská 8, metro station Andl on the yellow line or tram stop Andl

The shopping center Nowy Smichov is located in the city center at the metro station Andl, although the shopping center can also be reached on foot, for example, the path from Charles Bridge will take only 20-30 minutes. In the three-story Novy Smichov shopping center you can buy clothes, eat in restaurants, or watch a movie in a cinema. One of the main advantages of the shopping center is that it has a hypermarket Tesco from 7 to 24. In addition to the hypermarket, there are shops with fashion clothes, accessories, clothes for children, various shoe stores, sportswear stores, a bookstore, electronics stores, delicatessen stores and much more.

I would like to draw your attention to the fact that in Nowy Smichov there is the largest shoe store chain Humanic. On the top floor there are many restaurants: La Casa Argentina (grill restaurant), Český svět (Czech cuisine restaurant), Loving Hut (vegetarian restaurant), etc.

Fashion Arena Outlet Center

The address: Praha, Průmyslová 440

Our tourists love this outlet very much. You can get to it on a free bus that goes from the last metro station Depo Hostivar(green line). If you search well, you can find good quality items at discounted prices in the outlet. For example, not so long ago we bought a Samsonite suitcase there at a big discount. However, be prepared for the fact that you can spend a lot of time looking for the right and more or less decent thing. Stocks from all over Prague are brought here, so old collections are often mixed with new ones, but there are very good discounts on old collections. I recommend going to this outlet for men's shoes, they are decent here and at very reasonable prices, for example, here you can buy Baldinini shoes for 60 Euros or Ekko boots for 70.

The schedule of any trip necessarily includes the purchase of gifts in memory of the days spent getting to know a new country. The best option for shopping is visiting shopping centers where you can buy any souvenir, as well as relax after long walks through historical places and sights. When visiting Prague, don't forget to choose a day to explore the city's main shopping malls, where you can buy everything from Bohemian crystal to garnet bracelets.

Palladium (Palladium)

In the heart of Prague, on Republic Square, is the Palladium shopping center. The Palladium is attractive not only for its location close to tourist places, but also for the magnificent old exterior of the building, which fits well into the general surroundings of the central streets and squares. So, before you go shopping, .

Even more surprising is the fact that the five-story red mansion, which looks more like a royal palace from the outside, has absolutely modern and technological equipment inside. Filled with light from a transparent roof, with airy tiers of floors, panoramic windows and excellent internal visibility, Palladium is attractive in any season.

Inside the shopping center, two hundred shops, cafes and restaurants await visitors. Next to the megamall is the yellow line station of the Prague metro - Náměstí Republiky. You can get to the Palladium without leaving the metropolitan subway. On five floors of the building there are shops from the mass market to the premium class, the higher the floor, the more expensive the level of brands. In the underground part there are large food supermarkets. Those who wish to bring Czech-made things from their trip, Palladium will pleasantly please with a large assortment of domestic goods. Regardless of the sales period, Palladium has very reasonable prices.

Even if shopping is not included in your plans, it will not be superfluous to walk along the floors with magnificent shop windows and sit in a cozy restaurant with a cup of coffee. Buy tours of old Prague with a guide who will quickly and correctly orient you in the abundance of Palladium stores according to your preferences.

Kotva

Directly opposite the Palladium is the historic shopping center Kotva. Built back in the days of Soviet Czechoslovakia, Kotva was the most luxurious Czech store at that time. Residents of the USSR, who were lucky enough to travel abroad, certainly visited the huge building of the department store, purchasing goods for the whole family. The clear lines of the exterior and even rows of floors are reminiscent of the frills-free period of the Soviet past. Nevertheless, the store is not inferior in appearance and demand to many popular shopping establishments in Prague.

In Kotva, you can successfully purchase items of expensive brands at low prices. On the ground floor there are excellent cafes with a very tasty assortment of food. In the underground galleries offers a wide variety of food supermarket Albert.

Address: Náměstí Republiky 656/8, 110 00 Staré Město.

Chodov

One of the largest and most popular shopping centers among shoppers is located in Prague 4, at Roztylská street 2321/19. 4th Prague is considered the most environmentally friendly area of the Czech capital, so a pleasant journey into the world of shopping can be combined with useful walks through the forest parks of the area and the Vltava embankment.

Chodov has existed for more than 10 years and managed to win the hearts of not only Praguers, but also tourists. A huge four-story complex has gathered under its roof more than 300 stores of various directions from clothing to household appliances, for every taste and budget. The area of the megamall is more than 120 thousand square meters, almost half of which is occupied by fast food enterprises, dozens of cafes and restaurants, among which there are several elite ones.

On each floor there are navigation stands, which can be easily navigated in space. There are not only middle-level stores, but also elite boutiques. In addition to shops and restaurants, the complex has:

  • dry cleaning,

  • shoe repair shop,

  • beauty saloon,

  • gym,

  • multiplex cinema,

  • game and entertainment centers,

  • banks and ATMs,

  • underground parking for 2000 places.

Thanks to the comprehensive equipment of Khodov, here you can simultaneously solve many problems related to the need to visit a shopping and entertainment establishment. Over the past years, Chodov has been expanded and modernized. In the autumn of 2017, the renovated complex with new stores was presented to customers. Now in Chodov you can buy goods of those brands that are not represented anywhere else in the Czech Republic. There is also a large lounge area, where visitors are given the opportunity to relax and unwind after a shopping raid.

You can get to Chodov from central Prague by metro. Megamall is located at the station of the same name, located on the red line of the metropolitan metro.

New Smichov (Nový Smíchov)

Line B of the Prague metro, marked in yellow, is rich in the presence of large shopping centers near its stations. Popular among Prague residents and tourists, the megamall Novy Smichov is practically the same age as the current millennium. The modern building fits well into the flavor of central Prague and is located in Prague 5 at the Angel metro station. In the three-story shopping center, the doors of clothing, cosmetics, jewelry, watches, souvenirs, sporting goods stores are affably open. There is a large assortment of children's clothing and toys, entertainment venues, a bowling club, cafes and restaurants.

And not far from the shopping center there is an embankment from which you can admire the Vlatva and decide to go on a river walk.

Sweets lovers will appreciate the chocolate boutique and the frozen yogurt cafe. In the center of the complex there is a large Cinema City cinema, and on the lower floors you can get acquainted with the assortment of the English Tesco hypermarket, which is open from early morning until midnight. Megamall is located in a place with a well-developed infrastructure, from here you can easily get to any Prague district.

Address: Plzeňská 8, Anděl, 150 00 Praha 5-Smíchov.

Black Bridge

If you drive up the yellow metro line to the end station of the Black Bridge, you can visit the nearby large shopping complex of the same name. The Black Bridge has already celebrated its twentieth anniversary, and several years ago a large-scale reconstruction was carried out here, during which the volume of the building was increased, its structures were modernized and a large parking lot for 3,000 parking spaces was built.

The huge silvery hangar, shimmering with lights, looks like an alien ship that has landed on the territory of Prague 9. The elegant and discreet interior is replete with areas of various business orientations. In the Black Bridge shopping center you can not only buy things of famous brands, but also visit a magnificent multiplex with several cinema halls, play in a casino or listen to live music. For the convenience of visitors, the complex has a mother-and-child room, and children spend their leisure time under the supervision of experienced animators.

Address: Chlumecká 765/6, Praha 9.

Letnany (Letňany)

Here, in the ninth Prague, in the north of the Czech capital, there is another representative shopping and entertainment complex - Letnany. Letňany holds the first place among Prague shops in terms of the area of trading floors - 125 thousand square meters. m. Due to the large capacity, there are many excellent leisure areas where you can spend your time usefully: indoor tennis and badminton courts, an ice rink, a wind tunnel and other large-scale facilities, for which many shopping centers simply do not have enough space.

Here, as in Nowy Smichov, you can visit the Cinema City cinema and the British Tesco hypermarket, which is already open around the clock here. About two hundred stores represent the most famous European brands, and catering establishments are always happy to offer the most delicious dishes of national and European cuisine. On the ground floor of the Letňany complex is Kika - a large furniture and home goods store.

Address: Veselská 663, Praha 9.

Quadrio (Quadrio)

Many tourists strive to get to Nove Mesto - the famous Dancing House, Vysehrad and much more are located here. Walking along Nove Mesto, you can look into Quadrio. This ultra-modern complex was built in 2014. The author's design of the shopping center provides for the multifunctionality of the building - there are even living quarters here. The quadrio consists of two underground and two above-ground floors and is connected by walkways to the nearby department store and metro station Národní třída.

The complex has boutiques, shops, restaurants, underground parking for two and a half hundred places. In Quadrio, you can visit a delicatessen and gourmet confectionery shop, as well as a cafe offering a variety of drinks freshly prepared from natural products. It sells elite wines and tobacco products, high-quality teas and coffee.

On the square near the Quadrio shopping center there is a magnificent sculpture "The Head of Franz Kafka", created by the creative Czech sculptor David Cerny. The head is divided into many horizontal illuminated segments that rotate around their axis, creating an incredible spectacle, especially in the evening.

Atrium Flora (Atrium Flora)

The Zizkov district of Prague also has its own shopping center - Atrium Flora. This center is not at all large compared to Chodov or Letnany and is not as beautiful in appearance as the Palladium or the new modern Quadrio. But he also has his admirers from Praguers living nearby or travelers who prefer to settle in this area. Atrium Flora is provided with a three-storey car park. For the convenience of those who travel by metro, there is an entrance to the lower floors of the store directly from the lobby of the Flora metro station.

On the first level of the four-story department store there is a grocery supermarket, a store for household goods and home comfort, a hairdresser and service departments. Two floors are occupied by consumer goods, and under the roof there are cafes, restaurants and entertainment.

Address: Vinohradská 2828/151, Praha 3.

You can visit the shopping centers of Prague on your own while traveling around the city. For the convenience of organizing shopping leisure, purchase excursions to the most popular places in the Czech capital. If you don’t have time and opportunity to visit the Czech Republic, there is a reconstructed Prague store in Moscow, located near the Ulitsa Academician Yangel metro station. In the renovated halls of the shopping complex, you will always pick up traditional Czech souvenirs and gifts.

There are a lot of different shopping centers, galleries, separate streets with boutiques, squares with shops and so on in Prague. It is rather difficult to choose one or several places for shopping from such an assortment, especially when you do not know what exactly you want to buy. Today I want to talk about shopping in Prague and where we managed to shop successfully!

Shopping center "Chodov"

The first place to go shopping in Prague is the largest the shopping center of the city "Chodov" (Chodov). The shopping center Chodov is located in the Prague-4 area. The most convenient way to get to it is by metro along the red line (line C) to the Chodov station of the same name. I wrote a post about how to use the Prague metro, there is also a metro map there.

This shopping center has the largest number of stores - 212 units (!!!), among them there are well-known brands Zara, Mango, Pull and Beer, Stradivarius, Pandora, Stefanel, Michael Kors, Armani Jeans and a huge number of other very interesting stores . You can go crazy there)

If you are looking for a specific store, see the full list at official website shopping center Chodov. There are also professional cosmetics stores, such as MAC, INGLOT, SEPHORA, Douglas. Shopping in Prague in such a center is a pleasure, its territory is huge, there is no flea market and not so many people.

Do not forget to ask the seller to issue a tax-free receipt if your purchases in one store are more than 2000 kroons. Read my post about how to issue a tax free refund at Prague airport.

Shopping center "Palladium" (Paladium)

In my opinion, this is the most popular shopping place in Prague, all this is due to its location, it is located in the very center, in the Prague 1 district. You can also get to it by metro, taking the yellow line (line B) and getting off at the station "Náměstí Republiky" (Republic Square). It's funny, but in appearance, the Palladium looks more like an ordinary building and does not look like a shopping center at all!

This center is always crowded. Palladium even publishes its own glossy magazine with seasonal collections of products offered by the center's stores. Of the stores that I met for the first time, I want to note the democratic British brand F&F. Liked the range, quality and prices. Full list shops can explore. Palladium also gives out tax free checks!

Wenceslas Square

Wenceslas Square is a good option for leisurely shopping, when walking around the city, you suddenly want to dive into a couple of shops and buy yourself something interesting. And on Vatslavka there is a very large assortment of souvenirs. Gifts from Prague are definitely worth taking from Wenceslas! On Wenceslas Square you will meet the well-known Czech shoe store Bata (very popular with Europeans, you should definitely look there), Promod, Salamander, H&M, Marks&Spencer, Sephora and many others! You can get to Wenceslas Square by metro on the yellow or green line to the station "Můstek".

Happy shopping in Prague!

Everyone has their own Prague. Who was there at Christmas, in that it is frosty and spicy, in summer it is warm and bright, in autumn it is slightly rainy and romantic. The most beautiful has something to show and how to treat your guests. The incredibly cozy atmosphere of the city captivates: a little melancholic and mysterious, but pleasant and friendly.

The Gothic architecture of Prague is intertwined with the buildings of modern shopping centers, cobbled pavements with major highways, original home cooking with original solutions.

Someone goes to the Czech Republic to touch the history, visit ancient castles and museums, and someone - to taste the legendary beer, wander through the many shops and bring home something special, exclusively Czech.

In order not to think for a long time where to shop, we offer a short guide to Prague's shopping centers and shops.

Palladium

The most famous and one of the largest shopping centers in Prague is the Palladium shopping center. It is located in the Praha 1 zone, in the very center of the city, near the metro station "Republic Square" (Náměsti Republiky), which is located at nám. Republiky, 1.

If you follow the signs, you can get to the shopping center directly from the subway or take tram number 26, 14, 8 or 5 to the stop with the already familiar name Náměsti Republiky. You won't have to look for the Palladium shopping center for a long time - this is a catchy old building, the facade of which is painted with a "delicious" marsala color. But appearances are deceiving, inside the historic building there are five floors of an ultra-modern shopping mall.

The number of stores is amazing - 180 departments with fashionable clothes of famous European brands, cosmetics, men's and women's perfumes, stylish accessories, household appliances, books ... Seafood lovers should stop on the ground floor, at the Seafood shop. Here you can find the freshest delicacies for your future culinary masterpieces.

On the fifth floor there are 20 cafes, bars and restaurants with national Czech, Italian, Indian, Asian, and other world cuisines. You can be sure: it is impossible to leave here hungry and without shopping!

Chodov

In the Praha 4 district, at Roztylská, 2321/19, there is a shopping center "Chodov". Prague is rich in large stores not only in the city center, but also in more remote areas. You can get to the shopping center by driving to the Chodov metro station along the red line or by bus number 177, 511, 115, 193, 135, 197, H1.

In this shopping center you can not only shop, but also visit a fitness club, play bowling, billiards or slot machines.

The shopping center offers its customers both mass-produced products and shops with luxury products to choose from. Clothes, perfumes, jewelry from many famous world brands: Michal Kors, Zara, Tom Tailor, Miss Sixty, l´Occitane, Sephora and many others.
