Kabardinka

The picturesque resort on the southern shore of Tsemes Bay is loved for its good beaches, developed infrastructure and proximity to Novorossiysk and Gelendzhik.

In summer, a 7-day trip for three with departure from Moscow costs 70 thousand rubles. This price includes flights and hotel accommodation with full board. There are no all-inclusive tours to Kabardinka, but you can book a hotel room with all inclusive meals on your own - it costs from 10 thousand rubles per day.

Hotels and private sector. Since Soviet times, the resort has preserved several sanatoriums, boarding houses and children's camps. In recent years, many modern guest houses, health centers and mini-hotels have been built on the coast. A 3* hotel room for two adults and a child costs from 3,000 rubles. Hotels with swimming pools are popular with families. A room there will cost less - from 1800 rubles.

Advantages and disadvantages. Kabardinka has several developed and wild pebble beaches. According to tourists, the sea in Kabardinka is dirtier than in small coastal villages within Greater Gelendzhik. On vacation with your child, take a walk through the beautiful Old Park, visit the Glass Workshop, Dinopark, “Upside Down House” and the aquarium.

Gelendzhik

A large beautiful bay 40 km from Novorossiysk is one of the favorite places to relax with children on the Black Sea. It is framed by the Thick and Thin capes. From the mainland, the streets of Gelendzhik are blocked by the high Markotkhsky ridge. Forested mountain spurs protect the coastal city from northern winds and create a special microclimate on the coast.

"All inclusive". A tour for three with departure from Moscow costs from 88 thousand rubles. If you book a family room in a hotel with all-inclusive meals on your own, you can rent from 6,200 rubles per day.

If you want to save money and solve problems with food and laundry, choose apartments. In the summer, one-room apartments with all amenities in Gelendzhik are rented for 1,200-3,000 rubles. During the season, inexpensive accommodation close to the sea is in high demand, so book in advance.

Advantages and disadvantages. It is convenient to relax at the Black Sea resort. The city has markets and shops, water parks, a safari park, museums, tour desks, expensive restaurants, budget cafes and canteens. Take a walk with your children along the long embankment, admire the musical fountain, go on an excursion to the dolmens in the Zhane River valley and to the picturesque Plesetsk waterfalls.

According to reviews, only the purity of the sea water prevents Gelendzhik from being called the best place for families with children on the Black Sea. In the small resort villages of Betta, Dzhanhot and Krinitsa the sea is much cleaner.

Anapa

The balneological health resort on the border of the mountains and the Taman Peninsula is famous as one of the best places for families with children on the Black Sea. Anapa has low air humidity, so babies and often sick children can tolerate the heat more easily.

Advantages and disadvantages. Anapa and small villages around it are places for the best holiday with children on the Black Sea. Holidaymakers are attracted by the wide sandy beaches. Anapa is conveniently accessible by plane, train and car. The city has well-developed public transport, making it easy to go on independent excursions. There are shops with goods for children, hospitals, pharmacies and you can always use the services of a nanny.

Minuses - a large number of people in July and August, and the sea near the central beaches is not very clean. Therefore, families with small children prefer to stay not in the city itself, but in the seaside satellite villages - and Sukko.

Yalta

According to tourists, a holiday with a child on the Black Sea in Crimea is in no way inferior to the Krasnodar Territory. Yalta is located in the Mediterranean climate zone. The air here is drier than in the resorts of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus, so babies and children with respiratory diseases feel comfortable.

"All inclusive". Yalta is one of the most expensive resorts in Crimea. A 7-day tour for three with departure from Moscow costs from 120 thousand rubles in July. A hotel room with all inclusive meals costs from 14 thousand rubles.

Advantages and disadvantages. Yevpatoria has everything for a good holiday with children: the gentle Black Sea, comfortable beaches, entertainment. Go to a water park, look at the sights of Crimea in miniature, visit a museum dedicated to pirates.

Despite the many advantages, holidays in Evpatoria have a significant drawback - it takes a long time to get to the resort. Travel by car or bus via Kerch Strait tiring for small children. A faster, but more expensive option is a plane to Simferopol and an hour and a half by ground transport.

Advantages and disadvantages. The resort has many attractions and places to go. Introduce your child to the remains of Genoese fortifications, admire the old dachas and picturesque fountains.

By public transport and taxi from Feodosia you can go on excursions to the sights of the South Coast. There are few downsides - due to the busy port, the sea near the city is not clean. Because of this, many parents and children go to the beaches in the suburbs of Feodosia to swim.

Zander

The picturesque seaside resort is a real decoration of the south-eastern coast of Crimea. Good beaches, clear seas and the picturesque Genoese fortress attract parents with children.

When choosing housing, keep in mind that the city is built on hills - not all areas are convenient for a stroller.

Advantages and disadvantages. Sudak has good and inexpensive public catering, there is a market, grocery stores and pharmacies, a historical museum, a medieval fortress and a water park. If you want more, go to Feodosia, Koktebel and New World. Cons - during high season there are a lot of people on the beaches.

Advantages and disadvantages. Ureki is a wonderful resort for a holiday on the Black Sea with small children. It is convenient to reach it from Batumi and Poti. The beaches have a gentle entrance to the sea. Black sand with magnetite is useful for treating diseases of the motor system and heart.

Apart from a small amusement park, there is no other entertainment in Ureki. With older children you have to travel to Batumi. There is no children's menu in local restaurants and cafes, however, if you ask, Georgian chefs will quickly prepare any dish for a child.

Traveling with children is troublesome and expensive.

Over the course of five years, my wife and two children and I visited almost two dozen Russian cities. When traveling around Russia, we try to choose a middle ground: we don’t live in hostels or stay in luxury hotels. On average we pay 3000-3500 for four people with breakfast R per day.

Sergey Tinyakov

travels with children

I have marked on the map the main cities, towns and entertainment for children:

Anapa

Anapa is one of the main children's resorts in the country. There are 200 children's sanatoriums, camps and holiday homes. Every year 350 thousand children vacation there, so parks, beaches and transport are aimed primarily at young travelers. It’s comfortable to move around the city: there are convenient sidewalks almost everywhere, and there are children’s playgrounds in squares and parks. The most entertainment is on the beaches and Pionersky Avenue - the longest street in the city, which is located along the coast.

18 kilometers from Anapa, in the village of Bolshoi Utrish, there is the only open water dolphinarium in Russia. Dolphins live in the Black Sea lagoon, and spectators watch the performances from a platform on the shore. Tickets are sold on the website. Entrance for an adult and a child over 7 years old costs 1000 RUR, for children from 3 to 7 years old - 400 RUR.

If you want to see dolphins and even swim with them for free, go to the beach in the village of Blagoveshchenskaya. It is located 23 kilometers from Anapa airport and 40 kilometers from the city. There, dolphins swim right next to vacationers. They may not be visible from the water, but they are clearly visible from the shore.

In the village of Sukko, 20 kilometers from Anapa, you can attend knightly performances at the Lion's Head theater, shoot with a bow or crossbow, visit a forge and pottery workshop, and ride horses. A ticket to the evening performance costs 500 RUR for adults and 400 RUR for children over 6 years old. Children under 6 years old accompanied by an adult are admitted free of charge. The schedule is on the theater website.

How to get there. You can get from Moscow to Anapa in a day by train. A ticket for a compartment costs from 2500 RUR, for a reserved seat - from 1700 RUR.

We know how to relax for pennies

The airport is located 17 kilometers from Anapa in the village of Vityazevo. A new terminal was opened there in 2017. The plane flies for 2 hours, the ticket costs from 2700 RUR. In summer there are direct flights from the regions. At the airport there is a comfortable room for mother and child.

How much does housing cost? A small house with air conditioning, a bathroom and toilet 30 minutes from the sea in the village of Blagoveshchenskaya can be rented for 1200 RUR per day. An all-inclusive hotel room in the center of Anapa costs from 5,000 RUR.

Gelendzhik

The main attraction of Gelendzhik is the twelve-kilometer embankment: this is one of the longest coastal walking areas in Europe. There are many cafes, shops, playgrounds and other entertainment. In the parks there are benches under the trees - you can relax and hide from the heat. The children and I could spend half a day on the embankment, just walking and enjoying the views. There are beaches nearby, mostly sandy and with good access to the sea.

The largest open-air water park in Russia, Golden Bay, operates in Gelendzhik. Its area of 15 hectares is the same as 20 football fields. The park not only has water slides, pools and attractions, but also an arboretum with 88 species of plants from around the world. Tickets are sold not by age, but by height. For visitors with a height of 106 to 145 cm, admission costs 900 RUR, for those taller - 1750 RUR. Children under 106 cm are admitted free of charge.

In Gelendzhik you can also go to the mountains in jeeps. There is a family route without extreme climbs with visits to waterfalls, a health park and healing mud springs.

You can arrange an excursion while walking around the city. Cars with large wheels and driver contacts are parked in many crowded places: near Platanovaya Alley, the Burevestnik cinema, shopping center"Gelendzhik". You can also look for information on local travel websites.

How to get there. The train goes only to Novorossiysk. A ticket for a compartment costs from 2200 RUR, for a reserved seat - from 1600 RUR. Then you need to take a bus to Gelendzhik. The Novorossiysk bus station does not have a website - you can find out the schedule and buy tickets on Avtoticket.com. The fare is from 100 RUR.

A plane ticket from Moscow costs from 3500 RUR. In summer there are direct flights from the regions. In the off-season there are few flights - you can get there by bus from Krasnodar, Novorossiysk or other large cities.

How much does housing cost? There are enough hotels and sanatoriums in Gelendzhik. A room with air conditioning in a private house can be rented for 700 RUR per day, a room in a good guest house will cost 3500 RUR.

It is better to go with children to the nearest villages - Divnomorskoye and Dzhanhot. They are located approximately 20 km from the city. There are lower prices and fewer tourists. A room two minutes from the sea with free parking will cost 3000 RUR.

Yeisk

The Sea of Azov is shallow and warm, and the climate there is not as hot as on the Black Sea coast. Holidays in Yeysk can be combined with treatment at mud deposits. There are two of them: on Lake Khanskoye and at the base of the Dolzhanskaya Spit.

Getting to Dolzhanskaya Spit is faster and easier - it is located only 40 kilometers from Yeisk. You can take a tour, but it’s cheaper and easier to rent a car or order a taxi for 700-800 R . If you have your own car, there are several campsites near Dolzhanskaya. Along the way you can buy fresh watermelons and melons straight from the melon plant.

How to get there. They travel to Yeysk with a transfer: first by train to the village of Starominskaya, then by bus, train or taxi. A compartment ticket for a train from Moscow will cost 3500 RUR, a reserved seat ticket - 1500 RUR.

Electric trains from Starominskaya run three times a day, travel time is an hour and a half, a ticket costs 150 RUR. Buses take an hour, tickets are sold only at the bus station. Price - from 100 RUR.

You can also fly to Rostov-on-Don for 5000-7000 R one way and then transfer to the bus. Travel time is from 3.5 to 5 hours. Departure is from the city bus station on Siversa Street, 1. Tickets cost from 430 RUR and are sold on the bus station website.

How much does housing cost? Accommodation prices start from RUR 500 per night per person. The most profitable options search in in social networks for the request “housing in Yeisk”.

Small house for four with air conditioning, washing machine, a private shower and toilet in June cost 2000 RUR, in July and August - 2400 RUR. You can find housing for 200 R per person, but it will be a plywood outbuilding with an outdoor shower, an outdoor toilet and a shared summer kitchen.

Kuchugury

The resort village of Kuchugury is located on the shores of the Sea of Azov on the Taman Peninsula. It has not yet been spoiled by the attention of tourists: the holiday here is quiet and peaceful, suitable for very young children. Local farmers sell their fruits and vegetables at the market. There are two seas nearby - the Azov and the Black.

Another popular entertainment for children is the Sochi Park amusement park. In 2017, it took 23rd place in the top 25 amusement parks in Europe according to Tripadvisor. The space is divided into 6 thematic zones, there are playgrounds, a dolphinarium, and a rope park. Every day there are performances and concerts for children. Most of the entertainment is included in a single ticket, which costs 1900 RUR for adults and 1700 RUR for children over 5 years old.

Sochi Park is open all year round, including the winter months. In summer it is better to go there in cloudy weather: there is nowhere to hide from the heat in the park, and children will quickly get tired in the sun.

On the territory of the park there is a castle-hotel “Bogatyr”. Reviews from tourists about it are contradictory: we only went there for lunch. The buffet for four cost 1,800 RUR and we didn’t like it: the choice of dishes was poor, the taste and quality were not up to par, and the room was dirty. We wouldn't risk eating there all the time.

If you want to take a break from the heat and urban development, go to the Sochi Arboretum. More than 1,800 species of plants from all over the world are collected there. There are enclosures with parrots, ostriches and peacocks, swans, ducks and pelicans swim in the pond.

The two parts of the park, upper and lower, are separated by a resort avenue and connected by a cable car. In three minutes it takes visitors to a height of 170 meters, where there is an observation deck.

An adult ticket for the cable car costs 350 RUR, for the park - 250 RUR, for children from 7 to 14 years old - 200 and 120 RUR, respectively. For children under seven years of age, ascent and entry to the park are free. Payment only in cash.

How to get there. The cheapest tickets are in October, November, January and February. A round trip flight from Moscow costs 3000-7000 R . During the season it is difficult to find a one-way ticket cheaper than 4000 RUR.

It takes about a day to travel by train from Moscow. In the summer, a ticket for a reserved seat costs from 2500 RUR, for a compartment - from 4000 RUR. There are direct routes from many Russian regions and even neighboring countries.

How much does housing cost? After the 2014 Winter Olympics, modern hotels and residential complexes appeared in the city. For example, in the Olympic Park there is the Omega Sirius Park hotel. A double room, even at the height of the season, costs around 3500 RUR. In June and September - 2500 RUR. You can rent a spacious apartment on Airbnb from 1000 RUR per day.

Are you going to the sea with your children this year? And where to? Abroad, to Crimea, to Sochi? How will you go: entrust the selection of a tour to an agency or plan your vacation yourself, thoroughly studying the reviews for each hotel? The first option is expensive, the second is long. But there is a third option for mothers who like to manage everything and save at the same time: our selection. We offer a list of 10 best hotels for children in Russia. It’s much easier to choose from 10, wouldn’t you agree?

Deauville Hotel & SPA 5*, Anapa

This hotel is not cheap, but it's worth it! Here, the best conditions for relaxation have been created for young guests and their parents, and since 2016 the hotel offers the “Ultra All Inclusive” system. For kids there are children's clubs and a special children's area at the Marini cafe. For older children (up to 14 years old) there is a teenagers club. And animation on high level, children will not be bored for a minute! The hotel offers 4 swimming pools with water slides, located in close proximity to buildings, restaurants and cafes, big and small. Tired of the pool? The hotel has its own beach - safe, clean and comfortable, with a free cafe and pleasant healing sand.
Price from 4968 rub. per person per day all inclusive

The sea is a real dream of the holiday season, and one can only envy those who live close to the warm southern waves. Russia has access to many seas, but most of them are not warm even in summer. In addition, for many families living in the interior of the continent, a trip to the south can be the adventure of a lifetime, but you really want to show your children a real holiday. Let's try to figure out how to take all your loved ones to a real sea beach without much expense.

Best places in Russia

First, let's clarify the situation with the available seas: in terms of logistics, it is always easier to go to the sea that is geographically closer to your place of residence (unless there is a direct flight of any transport), but you should choose your final destination carefully. It has already been said about the northern seas - they are not suitable because they never really warm up, which is why there is no infrastructure here. Of those that warm up normally, we highlight four: Black, Azov, Caspian and Japanese.

There are no questions about the first two, but with the remaining two the situation is not very clear. If we talk about the Caspian Sea, it is not very popular among tourists, since it is a famous oil-producing region, so the water here is not particularly clean. In addition, the Black Sea coast is relatively close, because the Caspian Sea simply loses competition and does not have decent infrastructure - at least on the Russian part of the coast.

Seaside resorts on the Caspian Sea exist in neighboring countries that do not have access to other seas, for example, in Azerbaijan, but holidays there cannot be called budget-friendly.

As for the Sea of Japan, it suffers primarily from its significant distance from the main cities of the country. It would be possible to massively develop the infrastructure here, but for most Russians getting here is problematic and expensive, and if you have the appropriate money and desire, then it is easier and more reasonable to fly somewhere to the tropics.

Within Russia, the Black Sea coast is ideal in terms of infrastructure - everyone knows such resorts as Sochi, Anapa, Gelendzhik or Tuapse. A huge advantage of this region is its excellent transport links with other parts of the country - in the summer, dozens of trains and planes arrive here every day from almost any major city in Russia.

Of course, a holiday with children by the sea in Sochi can be quite expensive, but it works here general rule– the further north the resort, the cheaper it is to relax here. For this reason, many tourists travel further north - to Gelendzhik or Tuapse, or even further - to Novorossiysk or even to Yeisk, located already on the Sea of Azov.

In a good way Anapa is an inexpensive place to relax with children - here the sea has a flat coastal bottom, so even those who swim uncertainly do not risk anything. Back in Soviet times, Anapa stood out for its abundance of summer camps for children, and today this network continues to develop.

In addition, it is worth remembering that the Black Sea coast does not consist of only cities - there are also smaller settlements that do not have an amazing entertainment infrastructure, but the sea is warm and gentle, the bottom is flat, and the prices are not so steep. These should include, in particular, Kabardinka, Divnomorskoye and other villages.

If the budget is completely limited, and the children have reached at least adolescence and love adventure, you should turn your attention to campsites, of which there are quite a few around Anapa and on the Azov coast.

The advantage of settling in the vicinity of Yalta is that the mountains are very close - Sochi has the same advantage, but it will be more expensive there.

When determining the date of your trip, you should also take into account the month for which your vacation is planned. So, in the very south the swimming season is much longer - it can include the entire month of May and September. On the other hand, going to such places in July is still a challenge, since it will be unbearably stuffy here. That is why, for travel in the middle of summer, people choose mainly more northern resorts like Yeysk, but even in the first half of June it is not always warm enough here.

Foreign countries

The concept of a budget vacation is relative - you can also vacation abroad at an economical rate, although it often costs more than inside the country. It should be noted here that in some foreign countries the infrastructure is at least no worse than the domestic one, and the prices can pleasantly please you, however, the problem lies in expensive logistics - a flight can cost several times more than a week or even a month of stay here.

If you are still ready to spend money on a relatively inexpensive flight, you should start with a trip to the Mediterranean Sea - to Turkey. This country is famous for its hospitality and amazing infrastructure, designed, in particular, for tourists with children - many hotels here focus specifically on families, so they hire animators and are ready to offer an entire amusement park on their own territory.

However, here you will have to choose - either exquisite hotels closer to the center of the famous Antalya, but at a higher rate, or very affordable prices, but somewhere in the relative wilderness, where the amusement park will only be public, in the city center.

If the vacation is really long, and the children are quite old, not too whimsical, and will only be happy with adventures, it makes sense to spend a lot on flights to visit countries that are still considered exotic among our compatriots. Thus, the beach holiday industry has been developing rapidly in recent years. in Southeast Asia, such as Vietnam and Cambodia. Many would simply be afraid to go there, however, reviews from those who have been there convince us that now it is not bad at all.

It is indicated that housing prices near the sea here can easily be much lower than in the Russian provinces, and the unusual local culture, exotic food, and elephant riding will leave an indelible impression.

What’s interesting is that even famous ones are often classified as budget destinations. Bali and Goa, which in our country are traditionally considered something chic. Living in Bali is relatively inexpensive, the only problem is that the flight will actually cost several times more than the actual vacation. For this reason, it is worth traveling here for a long time, but then the costs will increase even more.

As for Goa, this resort can simply be divided into two parts: the very fashionable south with appropriate prices and impressive infrastructure, and the north, where there is no amazing service, but the service is still no worse than Russian, and the prices and impressions are completely different level. Another thing is that it is not recommended to go to Goa in the summer, because it becomes unbearably stuffy here, the rainy season begins, and the sea is often choppy, however, all these same criteria greatly affect the cost of any services, and we are talking about savings.

True, they advise going to Goa for at least two weeks - it can be difficult for our citizens to adapt here due to the extremely unusual climate and very spicy food, so the first few days simply fall away.

A summer vacation on a budget is best achieved by those who know how to choose the right place and time. Let's try to formulate the basic rules on how to go to the sea with your family without expensive expenses.

To begin with, remember that Timely vacation planning and purchasing tickets and vouchers significantly helps to save money. The same air tickets for tomorrow are much more expensive than for four months in advance, so you should think about a summer vacation in the winter. Having enough time, you can also fruitfully study all the available offers, comparing them not only by price, but also by quality - it often happens that a person passes by advantageous offer simply because the decision must be made in a hurry.

Another point is that in order to save money, it is worth giving up the easy ways. Famous resorts attract tourists, but due to increased demand they can afford to raise prices significantly above cost. The fact of the massive accumulation of infrastructure here does not mean that such a sea and such beaches no longer exist - they probably exist in lesser-known villages that have not been reached by big business.

It is possible that it will take more time and money to get here, however, the savings on housing and food will completely cover these costs, so don’t be lazy to look for information about alternative, little-known resorts.

Remember also that Most experienced budget tourists rarely buy all-inclusive packages. This rule is still relevant if you are traveling to Turkey, where it really allows you to save money, or to a recreation center where children relax without their parents and do not organize their own leisure time in any way. In other cases, the price of a trip often includes some services that you simply will not need, so carefully read what you are paying for and think about what you need from it.

You can visit exotic countries, gain impressions and mentally relax for little money. The Skyscanner editors have calculated the cost of a two-week vacation in different parts of the world and made a selection of the cheapest countries for a vacation in 2019.
