A box with a gadget can tell a lot of interesting things, both about the device itself and about the manufacturer's attitude towards customers. In this case we have cardboard box with transparent plastic insert. From the text information on the front of the package, we can gather the following information: the official warranty lasts 2 years, the headset is certified for use with the TeamSpeak application, and is also compatible with current gaming platforms, including PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and even Wii U. Cloud Drone can even be used as a headset for a smartphone, although it will look a little ridiculous.

The longer the headphones sit on your head, the better they fit it, making the use of the gadget even more comfortable. Noise isolation is at a good level, but I can’t call it ideal. On the other hand, do not forget that we are dealing with a gaming headset, not monitor headphones. Although even in this category of devices there are exceptions.

Inside each cup is a 40mm neodymium driver. Such magnets are used in headphones of average and high level, while in cheap models, as a rule, ferrite magnets are used.

The meter cable is hidden in a nylon braid, which will avoid twisting and damage. The cable ends with a 4-pin 3.5mm plug. The headset also comes with a two-meter extension cable, ending with two plugs that you can plug into your Personal Computer. It's convenient enough. A short cable for use with game consoles (the plug is plugged directly into the gamepad), and an extension cable is useful in order to reach the headset under the table system block. It's time to talk about sound. I was very worried that "budget" can have a very negative impact on the sound quality of the headset. We should not forget that we have a gaming gadget in front of us, and not headphones for connoisseurs of music and watching movies. At first, the sound seems dry and even “flat”, but after playing with the equalizer, you can easily make the headset your own. best friend. Low frequencies sound as expressive as possible, the middle ones sound very good, but with high frequencies there are barely perceptible problems. The speakers produce excellent volume without any sound artifacts and tears.

Positioning sound sources in video games works great. In popular computer shooters, it is immediately clear from which side the enemy is sneaking up on you. The microphone is also very accommodating, so that your teammates will clearly hear your every word, which will eventually lead the team to victory.

In console games, the headset also behaves nicely. I only tested it on the Sony PlayStation 4 because I didn't have a matching 3.5mm adapter for the Xbox One. Well, in console shooters, the headset again proved to be very worthy. Positioning of sound sources, realistic shots and explosions, clarity of speech when communicating with fellow party members - all this makes Cloud Drone an excellent choice for fans of "couch games".
