Hello. Our guest is the DriverPack Cloud program, I noticed it in my Start menu, I have Windows 10. It became interesting what it is. I started digging on the internet. I found the official website, I read it, it says that DriverPack Cloud is some kind of new product that allows you to identify critical Windows errors, knows how to predict computer malfunctions, and knows how to solve popular problems. The functionality of the program is constantly improving. I don’t know what to tell you, I know only one thing, I have already seen such programs more than once ...

Although, in general, the main program for DriverPack Cloud developers is DriverPack Solution. What is Driver Pack Solution? I will say right away that I do not like such programs, I have never used them. But I only know one thing, that the DriverPack Solution program is very popular, a lot of people use it, it is needed to automatically search and install drivers for devices. That is, as a useful program. But I install only one driver, I mean this on a sound card, and Windows itself already installs all the other firewood. Therefore, in principle, I don’t need DriverPack Solution, but this is for me, and many praise it, and I think for a reason. So, okay, that's enough….

Guys, the article turned out to be mega big. For firstly, I myself was wondering what kind of DriverPack Cloud program it was. Secondly, I was wondering how much it takes root in the system, I also tried to find out. And thirdly, I showed how to remove it and manually clean the system from residues.

Okay, now let's start our own investigation. So I opened the Start menu and here I have DriverPack Cloud, see:

I launched this program, but there was no reaction. Then I looked in the tray and see the DriverPack Cloud icon there:

That is, it was already running as it was. I right-clicked on the icon and selected Show Main Screen:

After that, the following window popped up on the right (I don’t know if I’m normal or not, but I was even a little scared):

There are some problems in this window, and the program offers solutions for them. When you press the Solution button, it shows how to solve the trouble. When I clicked on the button in the upper left corner, there was an item Run DriverPack Online:

I clicked, it became interesting what it was. As a result, such a window appeared and it began to prepare for launch there:

Nothing was done. When I pressed the button in the upper right corner, three sticks, the following menu appeared:

Here you can create a restore point, make a backup copy of the drivers, there is an item to remove programs, and the rest .. In principle, not bad. Then I clicked on the cross or something, I myself did not understand what I clicked, but such a window appeared:

In general, I also looked there, there is a section of recommended programs:

There is a section where you can remove unwanted software:

There is a system diagnostic:

And there is also a section where it says that you can play top games even on a weak PC:

Fiction? No, absolutely not. I don't know what it is, I'm not very interested. But this is only possible in one case. There is such a technology that no matter how you play on your PC, but the game itself does not work for you, but on the server, and only the image is transmitted to you. Everything is thought out there in terms of lags, there are almost none, but then how lucky. Oh, I forgot, it's not free, as far as I remember, and it's not so cheap...

Well, here are the program settings:

So, okay. Basically understandable. DriverPack Cloud is a type of program that can help make the computer faster, remove unnecessary programs, clean the computer (this was suggested in the very first section) and something else .. =)

I did not close DriverPack Cloud, I just minimized and opened the task manager:

In the manager, where the Name column is, I found Software and Drivers, right-clicked and selected Details:

Well, then I saw what, in principle, I expected, this is a whole gang of processes from DriverPack:

Well, the gang =) For interest, I looked from where they are launched. So, the DriverPack-17-Online.exe process was launched from this folder:

C:\Users\Dima\AppData\Local\Temp

DriverPack.exe process from this one:

C:\Users\Dima\AppData\Local\Temp\7ZipSfx.000

DriverPackCloud.exe from here:

C:\Program Files (x86)\DriverPack Cloud

And in principle, I thought everything .. But it turns out that the second DriverPackCloud.exe process was launched from another folder, namely from here:

C:\Users\Dima\AppData\Roaming\DriverPack Cloud\updates\v17.8.12-1ccbd16

But you know what? That's not all guys... I opened the Startup tab, and there is Software and Drivers, but this thing starts other things:

Hmm, interesting.. I personally don't know why it runs Conhost, Microsoft(R) HTML Application (mshta.exe), Windows Command Handler (cmd.exe).

So, okay. What else? I thought everything ... But I decided to open services ... But I didn’t find anything there, even a little strange. Maybe I searched badly? If you are interested, you can also look, to do this, hold down Win + R, the Run window will appear, paste the command there:

Then a list of services will open, look there, maybe I'm inattentive and didn't find it ... =(

So what else? Hm, let me think. What else did I forget to look at before starting to talk about the removal .. Yeah, I remembered. I opened the CCleaner program, went to autoload, there I looked and I see that when the computer starts, of course, DriverPackCloud.exe also starts:

But then I also looked at the Scheduled Tasks tab and saw five tasks from the DriverPack there (they can be found in the scheduler> Win + R> taskschd.msc> Task Scheduler Library):

If you drag the bottom scroll bar to the right, you will see under which process this or that task is running. If you want to find more interesting things, then check this box:

Then it will be fun. Here is such a CCleaner program .. it will help you find out everything on your computer, for real detectives!

Chapter Two: How to Completely Remove DriverPack Cloud from Computer and Remove All Traces

Guys, now let's start the second part. I will show you how to remove DriverPack Cloud completely, how to find its remnants and remove them too. Well guys, shall we start? The first thing to do is exit the DriverPack Cloud program and right-click on the icon in the tray and select the Exit item there:

So, now we hold down the Win + R buttons, a window will appear, we throw the command there:

Click OK, after which a standard tool for uninstalling programs will appear, this is the Programs and Features window. We find DriverPack Cloud here, right-click and select Delete:

Then something will be written there, there will be a Leave DriverPack Cloud button, but you click Delete below:

After that, there was no action. Apparently it is quietly removed without any windows. Okay, okay, what's next? And then here's what, I right-click on the Start icon, select the Explorer item:

Then I open the system drive C, and in the upper right corner I write the word DriverPack and start waiting (to find all the garbage, check that you have hidden files enabled):

IMPORTANT! So guys, I'm looking for garbage on the word DriverPack, because I don't need anything at all that is related to DriverPack, you know? If you have DriverPack Solution, and you want to remove only the remnants of DriverPack Cloud, then look for garbage precisely by such a full name of the program, that is, look not for DriverPack, but for DriverPack Cloud! I hope I explained clearly...

So guys, in Windows itself there are technologies for searching for leftovers. I had to wait a little while the search was over. In the end, this is what we found:

Scroll to the end to see everything:

When I saw all this, you know what I did? I looked in the tray, are there any icons there? I looked in the Programs and Features window, is there a DriverPack Cloud program there? I thought I didn't delete it... Okay, what do you need to do now? Now the guys need to remove all this good in a good way, and if it doesn’t want to, then it will have to be done in a bad way ...

IMPORTANT! The word DriverPack can also be in the name of a file / folder that does not belong to the DriverPack program at all. Well, you never know! So be careful what you delete! Or, to be calm, look not for DriverPack, but for DriverPack Cloud, then you definitely won’t delete the extra, but there may be less garbage ....

So, I selected all the files and then right-clicked, in the menu I chose Delete:

A window like this popped up, ticked the box and clicked Continue:

Then a similar window appeared, like this:

But what does it say here? Writes that the object could not be found, that its type does not exist. This is probably because the folder with this object has just been deleted. In short, it doesn't matter. I checked the box, pressed the Try Again button, then the window appeared again, and then I checked the box again and already pressed Skip =) And then what? Well, then I opened the system disk again and searched for files again by the word DriverPack, and here are the results:

See? This is how you guys should be!

So, now the second one is garbage in the registry. Press the Win + R buttons, the Run window will pop up, we throw the command there:

Pressed OK, the registry editor opened =) Now about the search. It's the same here, you have the choice to either search by DriverPack or by DriverPack Cloud. In the first case, there will probably be more, and in the second, you definitely can’t remove the excess. I choose to search for the word DriverPack, I'll just carefully watch what I delete, but I'll clean the computer well. Well, you already see for yourself how you feel better ... To start the search, hold down the Ctrl + F buttons, a window will appear, I insert the word DriverPack there and click Find Next:

It will start looking. Now how to remove. You can find two types of data - a section and a parameter (well, or a key). Both the first and second are deleted in the same way, just right-click and select Delete. For example, I found a parameter, I delete it:

Then there will be such a message, well, like a confirmation, press briefly Yes:

If you have found a parameter and there are some doubts whether it is or not, well, if you are looking for the word DriverPack, then double-click on it and you will understand whether it is garbage or not. Look, I found such a parameter and I doubt it:

I clicked on it twice with the mouse and this is what's inside:

That is, do you see? There is a mention of DriverPack, but in fact this does not apply to the program! Because it says not DriverPack, but DriverPackager, do you understand? That's what the trick can be, be careful!

Guys, I was looking for .. looking for .. I thought that there would be a section. But alas:

I didn’t find a section at all, such things. There wasn't that much rubbish in principle =)

Guys, that's all, be honest, I must have tired you a little, right? Well, sorry. I'm such a simple person, I love the computer and I like it to be clean. Good luck, happiness to you and take care of yourself, until we meet again!

DriverPack Solution and DriverPack Cloud- Malicious programs distributed under the guise of a driver manager. In fact, they duplicate the functionality of the Windows operating system and do not bring any benefit to the user. The purpose of these programs is to display ads and force the installation of other useless and malicious programs, for the distribution of which the authors of DriverPack receive money.

Methods of infection by the DriverPack program

  1. Together with the necessary and useful programs. DriverPack installation is built into the installer of some programs, which is difficult or impossible to refuse. Do not download programs from questionable sites and always check all available installation options while the installer is running.
  2. Together with drivers on dubious sites. If you are looking for some rare driver and found it on a dubious site, most likely it will also come with DriverPack Solution, which will be installed when you install the driver and will not report it in any way. Download drivers only from hardware manufacturer websites.
  3. In pirated assemblies of Windows. If you have downloaded and installed a pirated build of Windows from torrents, be prepared for the fact that the author of the build stuffed your new system with malware. Some do it for money, others just like that, out of ignorance.
  4. Your computer may have been "tuned" by the familiar "computer genius" and install malicious software. In my experience, such people often do not understand what they are doing, and their activities do more harm than good.

Why the program cannot be uninstalled in a simple way

DriverPack authors spend a lot of money in order to distribute their program to as many computers as possible, their income depends on this. When penetrating into the next operating system, DriverPack behaves in exactly the same way as any virus- tries to gain a foothold in the system by any available means. Registers in the registry and startup, creates services, creates executable files with names similar to system ones, adds its code to service files.

With each new version of the program, this mechanism is improved and all the old removal instructions become completely useless.

Overview of DriverPack removal methods

In this article I will describe all the removal methods that can be found on the Internet. All of them were tested by me on a specially created Windows 10 virtual machine specially infected with DriverPack Solution and DriverPack Cloud. Some methods don't work, but I'll tell you about them anyway so you don't waste your time trying too hard.

Simple removal using Windows (very rarely helps)

If you are lucky and have come across a very old version of DriverPack, then you can remove it using the normal uninstallation of Windows programs. All modern versions of DriverPack can no longer be removed this way, the authors took care of this.

1. Open “Control Panel”, to do this, press the Win R keys at the same time and write in the window:

2. Go to the section“Programs” => "Uninstall a program":

3. Find all programs in the list containing “DriverPack” in the name, right-click on each and select “Delete”:

4. Restart your computer.

Note: Some versions of DriverPack Solution are not displayed in the list of installed programs, another gift from the authors of the program.

  • aria-debug .log files - What are they? How to delete? How to make sure that they do not take up much space?
  • Removing DriverPack using special programs (does not work)

Many sites offer to use their “unique” tool programs to remove DriverPack Solution. Unfortunately, these programs turn out to be in fact as useless and malicious as DriverPack itself. They will not remove it, but only additionally infect your operating system themselves. The authors expect that if a person has already downloaded a virus program once, he will do it again and they will also be able to earn some money.

By the way, there are also normal safe programs for cleaning Windows from garbage, but they cannot help to remove DriverPack either.

I have tried 5 of the most popular uninstallers:

    • Revo Uninstaller
    • Ashampoo Uninstaller
    • CCleaner
    • IObit Uninstaller
    • Advanced Uninstaller Pro

And none of them could uninstall DriverPack Cloud latest version. If for some reason you don't want to use the other methods described below, try these programs. Perhaps you have an old version of DriverPack installed and the uninstaller will help you.

Note: These programs are not always easy to remove from the system, sometimes they behave exactly the same as DriverPack. Yes, they are distributed in the same way.

Rollback to a Windows restore point (works)

Modern versions of Windows create restore points by default. The point is created either on a schedule or when major changes are made to the system configuration. If no one “tuned” your system after installation, you should have restore points enabled.

As with the previous method, before starting recovery, I recommend backing up important files and documents to a USB flash drive, external drive, or cloud storage.

It can take a long time to restore the system to its original state, and as a result you will get a completely clean system, not infected with any malware.

Reinstall Windows (outdated versions of Windows work)

If you are using an older version of Windows (XP, Vista, 7 or 8), then you will have to do a full system reinstall. By the way, you have a good reason to finally switch to modern Windows 10, then this OS reinstallation will be the last one for you.

The best option would be to buy a licensed version, in which case you will forget about any problems with your computer forever. The licensed version itself updates its components, drivers and has built-in anti-virus protection.

    Instead of a conclusion

After uninstalling DriverPack Solution or DriverPack Cloud, make sure that the next time you experience a similar problem, it will be easier to restore the system. Be sure to enable automatic creation of restore points and restrict access to the computer for unauthorized persons. If your computer is used by children or retirees, create non-administrative accounts for them, then they will no longer be able to install malware and save you time and nerves.

DriverPack Solution founder Artur Kuzyakov earns more than $1 million in net profit per year:

Protect your computer, follow the simplest computer security rules, be vigilant and careful when working on the Internet. This is the only way to avoid becoming a victim of such businessmen.

I would be glad if you leave a comment on my article.

How to remove all driver pack solution?

You can remove the driver pack solution through Control Panel - Adding and removing programsquot ;. From the list, select the item you need and click Deletequot ;.

Sometimes I also use the program CCleaner. to remove programs.

It is necessary to delete the OEMINFO.INI and OEMLOGO.bmp files from the C: WINDOWSSystem32 folder

First uninstall DriverPack Solution Updater through the Startquot ; button, then go to Uninstall / install programs.

A list of programs installed on the computer is immediately displayed and you need to find the program that you want to remove.

When the DriverPack Solution Updater found, you need to click on the button on the right Deletequot ;.

The next step is to clean up all the clumps that have not been removed by the free computer program CCleaner.

This computer program will clean up what is left of the deleted program on its own.

And then you need to format the hard drives for the reliability and speed of the computer.

I also often install what I don’t need, then I suffer, the computer’s performance slows down, or worse, nothing works at all.

I heard about the driver pack solution that after installing it, it is extremely difficult to remove it.

You can try to uninstall through the toolbar in the add or remove programsquot ; section. But after such a removal, it happens that the drivers are not completely removed - there are tails.

In this case, you can run System Restore.

Go to Start, then System Toolsquot ;, then System Restorequot ;, set the restore point (the day on which the driver pack solution was installed) and run. After system recovery, the computer will load all the components until the driver pack solution is installed.

To do this, you need to go to the control panel. If you have category mode (default), then you need to go to the program section, then uninstall programs. If this does not work, then install the ccleaner utility and forcibly remove DriverPack Solution Updater. Then clean the registry.

Remove installed programs from the computer using the "Add or Remove Programs" function; not always succeed, so personally I always do rollback system through restore point to the level it was before the installation of the unwanted program. To put the computer into safe mode, restart it while holding the F8 key, then follow the instructions, select the restore point (usually the last one before the "bad" installation) and return to the previous state of the system without any trace of "crooked"; update or unnecessary program. Then we restart the computer and work in normal mode.

The special Uninstall tools program will help you remove the driver pack solution. In addition, you can use the Ccleaner program. Both programs will remove not only the program itself, but also all library entries associated with it. I do not advise you to remove the program through the built-in Windows service to remove / install programs.

To remove the driver pack solution previously installed on your computer, you need to do the following:

      1. Launch the quot tab in the control panel; Installing and uninstalling programs quot ;.
      2. Select the quot item from the list; DriverPack Solution Lite" and just click on the command Delete .

After these manipulations, the program will be safely removed from your computer.

It is deleted through uninstalling programs, go to start, then look for the control panel by name and delete it, you can also delete it through the registry editor. And to get your computer working properly, use Auslogics BoostSpeed or CCleaner.

To remove the downloaded and installed driver pack solution, if the system is Windows 7/8 or Vista, you need to go to the Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs, select DriverPack Solution Updater and click on the Uninstall option.

Run the snap Add or Remove Programs

      Windows 8/7/Vista:

Control Panel -> Programs and Features

Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs

      1. Select DriverPack Solution Updater and click Delete.
      2. The program has been removed.

To remove all remove all driver pack solution

We go to the registry editor:

For XP - Start / run (start search) / enter regedit

For W7 - as in the picture

In order to remove DriverPack Solution completely, you need to do the following:

      • Start/Control Panel/Programs and Features
      • find DriverPack Solution, click the "Remove" button;

To completely clean up your computer software, you must also delete files, folders, and Windows registry keys through a file manager.
