Xp deus - optimal settings from fortune. XP Deus search programs for trashy places (advice from experienced diggers) Best settings for xp deus

I'll tell you about small changes in the settings for myself.
Program DEUS FAST
Diskrim: 1t/2t was 6.8 became 15; 2t/3t was 76 became 70; 3t/4t was 95 now 90
Tones: there were 3, now there are 4.
1 tone was 202 became 262
2 tone 518/440
3 tone 644/658
4 tone 757/782
IRON LEVEL was 3 became 5
REACTIVITY was 3 became 2
The rest of the settings were not changed.
As a result, all the iron is heard (initially it is in discrim), the sound from other targets has become more acceptable. The iron sector can be adjusted both upwards and downwards.
In principle, all programs can be changed and configured in the same way, but the beauty is in these very tuning nuances.
As I understand it, the SILENCER parameter lives its own life, because even after being saved in the program, the next time it is turned on, it again stands at the level that the device itself determines.
Minus one at Reactivity 0 gives non-ferrous metal "separation" in a heap of iron, but miracles should not be expected. If you fill a non-ferrous target tightly with ferrous metal (by the word "tight" I mean with a slide from all sides), then Deus will not "see" the non-ferrous metal. On the pile YES, he will see, under it __ no.
// Brass knuckles Kastetych

Today I checked the work of Deus with "hot" stones and a meteorite.
With a standard GB (90 units), he does not "see" any of the listed items.
When the GB is lowered (70 units)) __ "sees", but the VDI does not give. The sound is smeared. From the coin, the sound is clearer and the VDI readings immediately go.
Piatak Katya 2nd sees very well on/under/between the "hot" stones and correctly identifies flat/edgewise. An edge across the VDI "floats" down, but this is also without the HA.

just discovered interesting point, in order to save changes in the engineer, after changing the engineer, on the current program, it is necessary to save, the engineer is not a global change in the entire device, but specific changes for the current program. Tobish for each program, its own engineer.
You can not be afraid to change various settings in the engineer, because. when restoring programs, they are reset in the same way, and the settings in the engineer

Deus settings for working "from the hip" (for military and cube seekers)
Frequency 4kHz
Gr. Iron is not important
Reactivity 3
Silencer 1
Chuyka maximum possible
Response 5
GB 45!!!
We push the lower bar into the upper one and swing the resulting mini-MD like an oblique (40 cm above the ground), but preferably overlapping at least half of the previous swing.
We "sniff" the caught signal with the help of a pinpoint, then we think for ourselves: dig / do not dig.
With this manner of searching, everything that is larger than 70x70x5 mm "jumps" out of the ground. The bigger the target, the deeper Deus will learn it.
Iron itself will "beat off" in color, but these are the rules of the game.
// Brass knuckles Kastetych

In the village of eight (coins from Peter to Paul) with a bat for 10 years to die, even all the iron was taken out, I used such settings

Chuyka 95 to 99 makes a little noise on the ground
TX-3
Reaction 2
silencer 2
audio 5
iron 5

Frequency switched from 12 to 4
as a result, a cross, 2 half annas,
well, from a depth of one and a half bayonet, Katin and a ring nickel took out
//Gryzly

Well here are my settings for Basis 2.
Frequency 18; Iron 0; Reaction 2; Noise reduction 2; Discrete vary in place from 7 to 9 (because in the real world of forged nails you will accumulate to hell); Response 5; TX in place.
Now in detail: well, the frequency is clear. The higher, the more sensitive to small things and low-conductivity metals. The sound of iron should not distract from heavily camouflaged targets (for example, 3 nozzles from a screwdriver in a standing position in a gold ring (2g) and 4 along the perimeter of a lying with discrim 4 give a digging signal with VDI 10-14-22 (depending on the scanning angle) If you change the tips for forged nails, the discreet should be raised to 6. Reactivity by 2 will give the longest signal in this situation. At 1 it will simply choke, at 3 the sound will be very short. And this is all with noise reduction -1. and such a target will be skipped.
This also applies to scales. Coins larger in signal aggregate will read above the default Discriminator settings at any Noise Canceling setting.
Here is my take on Program 9.
// Brass knuckles Kastetych

NBR AUTO TRACKING -1 and DECALAGE - 0. Instant ground balance. Now I go to the machine on Basic 1. The device pleases. In the empire, I lower the discrim to 6. I set the tones 0-6, 6-45, 45-88, 88-95
The frequencies are 200, 400, 702, 791. Then the golden fives (62-64) and tens (68-71) fall into the sector 45-88, and the aluminum wire, since the VDI jumps, is easily different. But this is for farms that have lived to see the Soviets.
I was very pleased with the Deus Fast program in the trash, spinning in one place, finds come out where the crowd passed, but you need to carefully sniff it out and listen carefully.

Unlike other metal detectors that have preinstalled programs search and not very great freedom in changing settings, the XP Deus metal detector allows you to overclock the device for use on any soil and any detecting conditions to the maximum. Of course, in terms of depth, the device is not the deepest, but depth is not important where other metal detectors do not see certain targets, for example, small scales and medieval silver, gold, small jewelry. All the Pyataks of Catherine the Great have already been raised with the simplest metal detectors, which means that we have no choice but to look for a trifle in the fields and in littered places. We will talk about the Deus settings for trash cans.

Sometimes it is useful to dig deep iron signals - a horseshoe for good luck!

Trash bins are different and it's true. There is a garbage can, which we process as a standard and remove signal after signal, and there is a littered place where iron is mixed with traffic jams, flower beds and other garbage in the fields, and among these targets we need to find useful targets.

If we are digging in a field with an HF coil, like mine, and the field is abundantly sown with iron and non-ferrous debris, then I recommend using the following program, which I called "PARK":

Based on the 3rd program, Deus Fast (Deus Fast), we make small changes that may vary depending on your search conditions and location:

Discrimination 4.2 (pro - 3 tones, pro in tones: according to your hearing, I put 202 Hz, 559 Hz, 835 Hz)

Sensitivity 93 (there is no pro setting in the white coil - coil current)

Frequency 14.4 kHz

Gr. iron 3

Speed 2.5 (pro - noise reduction 1)

Volume of weak signals 5-6 (pro - sound overload 1)

label 00-00

Now to the ground settings: Tracking, pro - cut the ground, do not cut anything, ground sensitivity 5 (depends on your spot). Manual 88.

This program allows us to work easily in a littered field and not lose depth, which is very important in such places, and tenacity for small things (especially deep ones).

One of the finds that other diggers missed is a small decoration in a littered field!

There is another option. Can be used basic setup"Deus fast," she's pretty good at trash. But you can make some more changes to it:

12 kHz
Chuyka -90, current -2
Speed -2, noise reduction -1
Iron volume -3
GSS-4, Sound overload -1
3 tones
Diskrim 4.0
On the ground, everything is the same as above.

It is better to adjust each of the settings on the spot based on your conditions of detecting and the field and the degree of debris.

Button, skipping other comrades among the garbage.

Now let's talk about voicing goals. The versatility of the XP Deus is just one of the bonuses, another bonus is the customization of the voice acting for different purposes. Very often, after an hour or two of detecting, we begin to miss some signals. Think about something, look at something, anything can be. Signals are lost, concentration drops, we miss finds. Everything is simple. To prevent this from happening, it is better to adjust the voice acting in Deus.

For example, let's take 5 tones, which interrupts I use, in order, from top to bottom:

800 - silver sounds great.

Always adjust the voice frequency settings to your taste, but it is better to make quite noticeable differences between them so that you can immediately catch useful signals by ear!

Hello everyone! I've been getting a lot of questions lately about XP DEUS settings. Despite the fact that the device is far from cheap, its popularity is only increasing. Such excitement is quite logical, since the device is very good, and, in my opinion, one of the best metal detectors on the market at the moment.

Given the fact that you can save your own settings in Deus, I decided to make my own version of the settings and share it with you. The settings that I will show you, I use myself. And their parameters were selected by searching and testing. I'm not saying that they are the best, but they show good results.

Let's go through the settings first. I took some photos of the main parameters. After that, let's watch a video and compare the factory settings and my version on real targets.

And so, according to the settings.

Well, now let's watch the video. Be patient and be careful.

The video speaks for itself.

Thank you all for your attention. If you have any comments - write, I will be glad.

Sincerely, Your Digger.

On one of the forums I found the XP Deus settings option:

I use such settings on villages that disappeared before the Soviets
chuyka from 90
the frequency of 12 kHz is more universal .. but if possible I try everything
TX 3
Reagent 1
silencer 0 or -1
audio 5
iron 5
low tone 0-7 and only ALL METALS!!!

On Soviet trash cans
chuyka 85
TX-1
reagent 3
silencer 0
audio 5
iron 2 if I get tired at 0, instead of discrim"

Thanks to colleague Khoper!

Tips for setting up the device from Konstantin (aka Kastet Kastetych)

Deus users would recommend setting the sound to 4 tones, with such characteristics. 1m=202; 2m=623; 3t=702; 4t= 791;
Everyone is free to set the upper limits of discrimination himself, at his own discretion. I have 0-7, 7-70, 70-90, 90-99.
It is better not to shift the frequencies, then TX-Power is available and it must be set to 3, by default it is almost always set to 2. What does this give? It is the accumulation of current in the coil that adds those necessary few cm into the ground. Checked today various options, so, for 3 all the goals sounded clear and understandable. On 1, one target was taken rather weakly.
Further, if the place is not very littered: Reactivity 1, Silencer 0, Iron Volume 5, AudioResponce 5. All this in order to compensate for the size of the Deus coil in comparison with other models.

And further: I noticed that when you reduce the TX by 1, the device becomes 100% stable and the scent can be raised to 97-98 and there is no particular loss in depth. And on the TX-3, the limit is 95 - then the singing begins, although the GB costs from 80 to 84.

Tips for ground balance in XP Deus by Konstantin (aka Kastet Kastetych)

Because Deus has constant ground tracking, there is no special need to set TRACKING. At any moment, you can look at what the topmost numbers in the right corner show (not the clock, of course). down to "pump" the ground. Ours is usually 74/76. As soon as there are a lot of glitches, I raise the GB a little up. In the WET BEACH program, GB can be safely lowered to the values \u200b\u200bspecified by the device itself, this is usually 00, I have 02. There are no unnecessary sounds in the surf - there is a goal, there is a sound.
Long high sounds give "hot stones" - if there are a lot of them in the soil, you need to raise the GB to the level when they stop making sound. But some of the deep goals on the verge of definition will then fall into the "dead sector".

Deus Tuning Tips by Alexander (aka spfalex)

Program 1 to search for maximum depth on a relatively clean field:
Frequency: 11.8 second pass 7.8
Sens maximum possible
TX-3
Iron vol-5
Reactiv-1 if garbage appears then 2
Sinleser-0
Audio R.-5
Disc-8
4-tone 202/0-8/-623/8-70/-702/70-90/-791/90-99/
For some reason, I can’t save the settings, after turning it off, either tx drops to 2, or the silencer becomes 3 instead of zero.

Program 2 imitation of GMF has not yet been touched. (What are you using it for?)

Program 3 Deus fast (for what purposes do you use it?)
As Kastetych wrote, with such settings, all iron and a more distinct sound from color rumble.
Diskrim-15
4-tone 262/0-15/-440/15-70/-658/70-90/-782/90-99/
Irin vol-5
Reactivity-2
The rest did not touch.

Program 4 Pitch has not been touched yet (for what purposes do you use it?)

Program 5 has not been touched by Jimax yet (for what purposes do you use it?)

Program 6 Relic has not been touched yet (for what purposes do you use it?)

Program 7 Beach changed on your advice:
4-tone 202/0-8/-440/8-28/-623/28-69/-741/69-99/

Program 8 All metal changed only:

TX-3

Program 9 Recommended Trash Can Settings:
Sens - maximum possible stable without phantoms
TX-3
Frequency-17.8
Iron volume-0
Reactiv-3
Silencer-0
Audio R.-5
Disc-7
4-tone 202/0-7/-623/7-70/-702/70-90/-791/90-99/

Setting the sounds of the device by tone as in X-terra (true for 3 tones)

"200 - no way lower, but it should be.
450
702
I picked it up according to the speakers, they sound differently. Approximately like a tube and a transistor. Somewhere like that. Well, not a musician, I can't really explain."

Thanks uspeshnik!

Summary table of Deus menu IM settings depending on the program number.

Who is interested in IM - be sure to download! We would like to thank user konrod from a well-known forum ... At such a pace and engineering menu completely mastered..

(original text here: http://xpdeusfan.free.fr/settings/ )
(This is my rather free translation. I tried to convey the meaning as much as possible.)

Below, in the table, you can find my 3 "favorite" tuning programs:

8K, Reactivity 0, TX power 3, for very clean search areas (forest for example)

12k, Reactivity 1, TX power 2, for general search

18k, Reactivity 2, TX power 1, for iron-littered places.

In fact, the number of WFIs (conductivity) depends on the frequency you are using. As a rule, the same coin will give you different values on different frequencies. Example: 76 in 18k, 70 in 12k and 61 in 8k.

The audio tones are tuned so that the same target will produce approximately the same sound, regardless of the frequency used.

For beginners, I suggest starting with the following settings:

Sensitivity= 93

Ground balance = 90

After several weeks of searching, your hearing will learn to identify useful targets and cut off the following noises:
- False high-pitched iron sounds due to a too low Discrimination setting.
- false high sounds at high sensitivity associated with the influence of the soil (GB).
Once you learn how to do this, you can start gradually changing the settings to the following values (Discri=2.5, Sens=97, Sil=-1, Audio Resp=2, GB= 75), which will give the maximum effect when working with the device .

The iron volume can be smoothly reduced to 0 once you are able to distinguish the iron from the false high sounds it produces.

My preferred setting, which I mostly use for searching, is the values in the second yellow column of the table:
Frequency 12K and the following optimal settings:
Discrim=2.4, Sens=97, Power TX=2, Sil=-1, Audio Resp=2, GB= 75.

A useful, interesting target is a target that produces a clear, high frequency sound, and that sound does not change as the coil is raised over the target until the signal is lost.

Regarding the "audio response=2" setting: this is very useful in order not to introduce some distortion into the sound. The sound volume also gives information about the distance to the target: this is very useful for accurately determining its location (Pinpoint mode is almost not needed).
So you must learn to hear very quiet sounds, in order to find deep targets, you will gradually learn to hear them, and the best help here is the use of high quality headphones.
09/08/2010: I added a special blue column to the table called "mode rococo": These are very special settings for "advanced" users. The detector will be very sensitive and will be able to detect targets located under mineralized surfaces (eg mineralized bricks). These settings are for maximum penetration of the detector field into highly mineralized soils.
In this method, discrimination is completely disabled. As a result, iron targets respond with a medium tone (see note in user manual on page 12 - "in case discrimination is below 2"). So I lowered the midtone setting to 200Hz.
