Installing a third-party bootloader is also done through a utility from a PC, for example, Sp-Flash-tool. There are other ways that are somehow connected first with obtaining superuser rights (root) and only then allowing you to replace the original bootloader from the phone itself.

For the correct operation of the Sp-Flash-tool program, you need to install ADB drivers on your computer, allowing you to perform actions even with the smartphone turned off via a USB data cable.

When you run the Sp-Flash-tool utility, a file with the firmware is selected in the dialog boxes (be it a new bootloader, a kernel, or a full firmware with scripts and programs) and an instruction in the file (the file name ends with _scatter.txt).

After connecting a switched off smartphone via a USB cable (with drivers installed), the program will automatically detect it and allow you to start installing the firmware.

There is an alternative way to install the firmware using the MTK Droid Tools utility. ADB drivers must be installed on the personal computer, and the “ USB Debugging” item in the “For Developers” settings section is activated on the smartphone. To display this item in the phone settings - go to the "About phone" menu and click ten times on the "Build number" item. In the case of the MTK Droid Tools utility, the smartphone must be connected to the cable when it is turned on.

There are ways to get root rights and then replace the original bootloader with a third-party one without using a personal computer (only from a phone). All of them exploit known device vulnerabilities.

For example, application Baidu Root or Framaroot can hack the phone's security and elevate the user's privileges to root. The original application can later be replaced with the most popular, time-tested and familiar analogue - SuperSU.

In the first part of the review, I described the Login 2 package, General characteristics tablet, his appearance and specifications. In the second part of the tablet review MegaFon Login 2, I would like to pay attention to the software component of the device out of the box, performance tests and the possibility of improving technical indicators.

So, first of all, let's see what is installed on the tablet. In addition to the standard android applications and Google, the device has a software package from MegaFon and Yandex: a mobile wallet with layout is clearly not for a resolution of 1024x600; not relevant for me program "Replace the beep"; service "MegaFon - Navigator" with a rather pleasant interface, but functioning only within its means mobile internet(we will get to it in the next part of the review); getupps app! - an analogue of the Google market; as well as a browser and a search bar. In general, the standard software did not surprise with anything.

Then go to the Android settings menu.

Next, we will do a series of optional standard procedures for a new Android device: enable USB debugging, the ability to install applications from unknown sources, connect Wi-Fi and synchronize the tablet with Google account. If you do not have a Google account, then the system will prompt you to create one.

Now Play market works, you can download and install any applications. First of all, I downloaded the AnTuTu Benchmark program, for comparative test tablet performance.

As you can see from the screenshots, AnTuTu rating - 6478 which is considered unsatisfactory for modern realities. But still, you need to take into account the cost of the tablet, which is much lower than any higher device in the ranking. Although the tablet's resources are not enough to comfortably play "heavy" 3D games, it is perfect for surfing the Internet, chatting in social networks, playing multimedia content, including HD, playing "arcade timekillers" and working in office applications.

As you can see from the screenshots, we have only 924MB for applications and 1.1GB for user files. This may not be enough to install "heavy" programs, so you need to swap " internal memory" and "Memory card":

Then we will try to lighten the system and speed up the tablet, for this you need to remove unnecessary stock software and unload RAM. First of all, we need to get Root is right.

We drop it on our tablet, install it using a standard explorer, after checking the box in Menu> Settings> Security> Unknown sources.

Run the program, select supersu app and click on any of the methods below (I had Aragorn and Gendalf), some may not work, do not despair and try another of the proposed methods, after receiving the rights, restart the tablet!

Root rights have been obtained, now you need to download an application called Root Browser (File Manager) or another similar application, we also drop it on our tablet and install it.

After installing and running the program, you will see a window asking for superuser rights - confirm!

Now you can safely delete. Pay attention - BE SURE! After all, if you delete something that you yourself do not know, then your tablet may simply not start later. To remove the desired program, you need to long tap on its shortcut in Root Browser, and then press Delete.
