Error 491 means something is wrong before you could download the app on your android phone, and now the system does not allow you to do this - it gives an error 491.

This is one of the most common ones encountered today. One of the main reasons is the obstacle in downloading.

The second is the lack of space in the internal memory or on an external SD card connected to the phone. Due to lack of space to install the application, it will fail every time.

Also, android gives error code 491 due to cache full, failure to detect google account and defective processor or boot manager software.

Therefore, consider all the options that you need for independent solution this problem.

The first way to fix error 492 in the play market on android

Reboot your phone. Reload software hopefully restore it.

All you have to do is press the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time until the screen turns off.

You can also take the battery out and put it back in. Yes, it’s not a fact that the problem will fix itself, but there are precedents when such a move eliminated the error.

Method two to resolve error 491 ingoogleplaymarket onandroid

Clear phone cache. Error 491 failed to load applications may appear due to lack of storage space.

Then you will need to clear the cache in the play store app. You can do it manually, but it's a lot of work - you need to clean it in all Google Play Services.

To do this, just go here and download excellent program for this kind of thing. However, in addition to cleaning, it can do a lot more.

The third way to fix error 492 in the play market on android

As you probably already know, without a Google account, you will not be able to download anything from the play market, and this account also sometimes leads to the fact that the android gives error code 491 could not be downloaded.

What to do then? Then you need to log out of your account and log back in, or even better, delete it and log in again - you can go to the same one, you can go to another one (registration of a new one or two minutes).

Once you're done with this (after deleting your account), reboot your phone and log into your account.

IMPORTANT! Before you start fixing any errors when installing the application, it is recommended that you back up all your data. One simple mistake may result in the loss of all data during the repair process.

It can get stubborn and everything. Then you need to remove it and install it again, but you cannot remove it (unless you have root rights or custom firmware).

You need to click "Turn off" and confirm, and the system will prompt you to remove updates (see the figure above).

Do so and see what happens. In the future, the application usually updates itself to the latest version.

"Error 491" occurs due to the overflow of system applications from Google with a cache of various data stored when using the Play Store. When it becomes too much, it can cause an error when downloading or updating the next application. There are also times when the problem is an unstable Internet connection.

Method 2: Delete cache and reset settings in Google Services and Play Store

    1. Go to "Settings" devices and open "Applications".
    2. Find among installed applications "Google Play Services".
    3. On Android 6.0 and above, open the storage tab to access the app settings. AT previous versions OS you will see the necessary buttons immediately.

    7. Here, repeat the same steps as with "Google Play Services", but instead of a button "Place Management" will be "Reset". Tap on it, agreeing in the window that appears by clicking on the button "Delete".

After that, restart your gadget and proceed to use the application store.

Method 3: Deleting an account and then restoring it

Another way that can solve the problem with an error is to delete the account and clear the cached data from the device.

    1. To do this, open the tab "Accounts" in "Settings".
    2. From the list of profiles registered on your device, select Google.
    3. Next select "Delete account", and confirm the action in the pop-up window with the appropriate button.
    4. In order to reactivate your account, follow the steps from the beginning of the method up to the second step and click on "Add account".
    5. Next, in the proposed services, select Google.
    6. Next, you will see a page with profile registration, where you need to specify the profile you have email and the phone number associated with the account. In the corresponding line, enter the data and tap "Further" to continue. If you don't remember your authorization information or want to use a new account, click on the appropriate link below.
    7. After that, a line for entering a password will be displayed - enter it, then click "Further".
    8. To complete your account login, select "To accept" to confirm your familiarity with "Terms of Use" Google services and their "Privacy Policy".
    9. This step completes the recovery of your Google account. Now go to the Play Store and continue to use its services, as before - without errors.

Thus, getting rid of "Error 491" is not so difficult. Follow the steps above one by one until the issue is resolved. But if nothing helps, then in this case you will have to take drastic measures - returning the device to the initial state like from the factory. Error Code 975 on Google Play

The good news is that error 975 occurs very rarely, and the bad news is that there is no solution yet. If you encounter this problem, then contact Google support.

Google Play Error Code 963 on Google Play

This error is mainly faced by owners HTC One M8 and M9 when trying to install something from the Google Play app store or just update an app.

    First decision
Try clearing the cache of the Google Play Store application, as well as the built-in download manager. Look for these programs in the application manager, where all installed applications are located.

    Second decision
If this error is still present, then now try uninstalling Google Play Store updates and then clearing its data.

    Third decision
Turn off the card microSD memory. To do this, open the settings, go to the “Memory” section, and then click the “Disable” button. Now launch the Play Store and try updating/installing the app again. If it works, then you can activate the microSD back.

    Fourth decision
An update error may occur due to the fact that the application is on the memory card. Try to transfer it back to the phone's memory, and then update through the market. If the process was successful, then you can transfer the application back.

Error Code 944 on Google Play

This issue occurs during application updates. Users encounter it when the app store is not working, that is, the problem is in the company's servers.

    Solution
Go to the Play Store a little later. This is a temporary issue, so you just need to wait a bit.

Error Code 940 on Google Play

    Unable to download the application.

    Solution
Sometimes just restarting your phone is enough, but if nothing has changed, follow these instructions:

    • Open "Settings", "Application Manager" and find the Google Play Store in the list. Clear the cache of this app.
    • Here, find the “Download Manager” application and clear its data.
    • Do the same with Google Services Framework, Chrome and Hangouts.

Error Code 924 on Google Play

Usually occurs during the installation of applications with additional data that take more free space in the phone's memory. The application loads, but an error message appears on the screen, causing the process to abort.

    Solution
Delete installed updates Google Play Store apps. Then try to download desired application again.

Error code 906 on Google Play (for 906 and 963 the solution is the same)

This error mostly occurs on smartphones like HTC One M8 and M9 during app installation or app update.

    Solution
With problems installing or updating apps, you need to clear the cache and data of the Play Store. If this does not help, then you need to uninstall its updates. If this does not remove this error, then try disconnecting the memory card and only then you need to repeat the installation / update process.

Error Code 905 on Google Play

Difficulty downloading apps or installing updates correctly.

    Solution
Open the settings and go to the section with all the applications installed on your phone. Find the Google Play Store there and uninstall updates, then wait a few seconds. Then give the Market time to install these updates back and then the problem should disappear.

Error Code 505 on Google Play

Two or more apps with duplicate permissions.

    Solution
You need to find out which application has the same permissions as the one you want to install and then you need to remove it. To do this, you must find the APK file of the application you are about to install and then try to repair it using the Lucky Patcher tool. It will display an alert, where the name of the program with which there is a problem will be. It, as you might have guessed, must be removed.

Error Code 501 on Google Play

If you can't open the Google Play Store or complete the installation, then it's almost certain that you have a 501 error.

    Solution
To solve this problem, you need to clear the data of these applications: Google Play Services and Play Store. You also need to delete your Google account and then restart your phone. Now you can add an account again, but wait 5 minutes until everything is synchronized (just don't touch your smartphone). After that, the 501 error should not bother you.

    Error Code 497

    Difficulty updating installed applications.

    First decision
Clear the Market data: open settings, go to the "Apps" section, and then go to the menu of all applications. Find the Google app store in the list and clear the data and uninstall updates.

    Second decision
Disable the memory card through the memory settings and then try to update the application with which the error occurs. If that doesn't work or if you're not using a microSD, then check out the third solution.

    Third decision
Unfortunately, this method requires superuser rights. You can use them to remove system application, which does not want to be updated. Install from the app store root application Explorer, and then in it go to system partition phone (System/App). Here, find the application and delete the folder with it.

Error Code 110 on Google Play

    The application cannot be installed.

    Solution
Just clear the Play Store cache. If the problem persists, then try installing the application through the web version of the app store.
