We remove restrictions (age limit) in Apple Music - all the ways! What to do if songs are not available on Apple Music and podcasts on iOS How to allow obscene content in itunes.

If you want to see on our website answers to your questions about everything related to technology, programs and services of Apple, iOS or Mac OS X, iTunes Store or App Store, ask them on . The answers to the most interesting of them will appear in the materials of this section. We received the following question:

Hello!

Can you tell me why in Apple Music many albums are grayed out and cannot be played? I don't understand, is it regional restrictions or is it because of the trial period?

Good evening!

It's not all as bad as you think. If you look closely, there is an icon next to inaccessible albums (as well as individual songs or clips). E. This is an abbreviation for Explicit- obscene materials that are not recommended for children to listen to and watch. This means that all we need is to assure the system that we are already old enough and ready to view the content.

For this we go to Settings - General - Restrictions. If this feature is already activated on your iPhone, you will need to enter a password, if not, you will need to create one.

Next on the list Allowed content select Music, podcasts. By default it is there clean. Turn on the item Explicit(Allow rated music and podcasts) and enjoy Apple Music without age restrictions.

Where did the restrictions go?

In each new version Apple's iOS developers are moving various menus and options in Settings from their usual places. And, of course, no one warns users about this. was no exception and iOS 12, in which "Restrictions" suddenly disappeared. At least they disappeared from their standard place. Finding the transferred "Restrictions", however, is not difficult.

Where did Restrictions go in iOS 12 on iPhone?

"Restrictions" in iOS 12 moved to the settings section new feature « screen time". In order to access the list of restrictions, go to the menu " Settings» → « screen time» → « Content and privacy».

In iOS 11 and previous versions of iOS, the restrictions settings were located in the " Settings» → « Main» → « Restrictions».

There are two important changes to the Content and Privacy section from the previous Restrictions section. Firstly, for some reason a password is not required to access it. This is definitely not safe, as anyone who gets access to your iPhone will be able to change various important settings. For example, block the installation of applications from the App Store.

And secondly, the location of the settings in the new restrictions menu has changed. The parameters themselves have all remained in place, so if you cannot find desired setting, just cycle through the options pages.

With the Screen Time Privacy & Content Restrictions setting, you can block or restrict access to certain apps and features on your child's device. You can also set restrictions on obscene content, purchases, downloads, and privacy in iPhone settings, iPad or iPod touch.

  1. Click "Continue" and select "This is my [device]" or "This is my child's [device]."
    • If you are a parent or guardian and you want to prevent another family member from changing settings on your device, select the Use a passcode option. Then enter the password again to confirm.
    • If you're setting up Screen Time on your child's device, follow the prompts until you're prompted to enter a parental password and enter it. Enter the password again to confirm.
  2. Select the "Privacy and Content Restrictions" option. If necessary, enter a password and select the "Content and Privacy" option.

Be sure to select a password that is not the same as the one used to unlock the device. To change or disable the passcode on your child's device, go to Settings > Screen Time > [your child's name]. Then select Change Screen Time passcode or Turn off Screen Time passcode and authenticate the change with Face ID or Touch ID or your device passcode.

You can also prevent your child from installing or uninstalling apps, making in-app purchases, and more. To block purchases or downloads from the iTunes Store and the App Store, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Screen Time" feature.
  2. Click Purchases from the iTunes & App Store.
  3. Select a setting and set it to Do Not Allow.

You can also change your password settings for additional purchases from the iTunes Store, App Store, or Book Store. Follow steps 1-3 and select either "Prompt Always" or "Don't Prompt".

You can restrict the use of built-in programs or features. Disabling apps and features doesn't remove them, it just temporarily disappears from the Home screen. For example, if you turn off Mail, it won't appear on the Home screen until you turn it back on.

To change the list of allowed programs, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time.
  2. Select the "Privacy and Content Restrictions" option.
  3. Enter the Screen Time password.
  4. Click Allowed Programs.
  5. Select the programs you want to allow access to.

You can also prevent the playback of music with inappropriate content and the viewing of movies or TV shows with a certain age limit. Programs also have an age limit that can be changed through content restrictions.

To restrict access to inappropriate content and apply an age limit, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Screen Time" feature.
  2. Select settings for each feature or a setting under Allowed Store Content.

The following are the types of content that you can restrict access to.

  • Age rating: Select a country or region in the age rating section to automatically apply the appropriate rating for that region to content.
  • Music, podcasts, and news: Avoid playing music, videos, podcasts, and news with inappropriate content.
  • Music profiles and posts: Prevent sharing what you're listening to and displaying what they're listening to with friends.
  • Films: Exclude films with a certain age limit.
  • TV Shows: Exclude TV shows with a certain age limit.
  • Books: Exclude content with a certain age limit.
  • Programs: exclude programs with a certain age limit.

To limit what Siri can do, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Screen Time" feature.
  2. Click "Privacy and Content Restrictions" and then "Content Restrictions".
  3. Scroll down to Siri and select the settings you want.

You can restrict the following options for Siri.

  • Search content on the web: Prevent Siri from searching the web.
  • Profanity: Prevent Siri from displaying profanity.

To limit what Game Center can do, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Screen Time" feature.
  2. Click "Privacy and Content Restrictions" and then "Content Restrictions".
  3. Scroll down to Game Center and select the settings you want.

You can restrict the following features of Game Center.

  • Multiplayer games: Avoid multiplayer games.
  • Adding friends: Disable the ability to add friends in Game Center.
  • Screen Recording: Prevent screen recording and sound recording.

iOS can automatically filter website content to limit access to adult content in Safari and apps on your device. You can also add specific websites to the allowed or blocked list, or restrict access to only allowed websites. Follow the steps below.

  1. Go to Settings > Screen Time.
  2. Click Privacy & Content Restrictions, and then enter your Screen Time password.
  3. Click Content Restrictions and then Web Content.
  4. Select "Unlimited Access", "Adult Site Limit", or "Only Allowed Websites".

Depending on the access granted, you may need to add certain information, such as the address of the website that you want to block.

The privacy settings on your device allow you to control how programs access information or hardware components stored on your device. For example, you can allow the program to social networks request permission to use the camera to take and upload pictures.

To allow changes to your privacy settings, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Screen Time" feature.
  2. Select the "Privacy and Content Restrictions" option. Enter a password if necessary.
  3. Click "Privacy" and select the settings you want to restrict access to.

Here are some settings and features that you can disable.

  • Location Services: Prevent apps and websites from accessing your location.
  • Contacts: Prevent programs from accessing your contacts.
  • Calendars: Prevent programs from accessing your calendar.
  • Reminders: Prevent programs from accessing your reminders.
  • Photos: Prevent programs from accessing your photos.
  • General access Bluetooth: Prevent devices and programs from transmitting data via Bluetooth.
  • Sharing your location: Prevent Messages and Find My Friends from accessing your location.
  • Microphone: Prevent programs from accessing your microphone.
  • Speech Recognition: Prevent apps from accessing the Speech Recognition and Dictation features.
  • Advertising: Prevent changes to settings related to advertising.
  • Media and Apple Music: Prevent apps from accessing your photos, videos, or music library.

You can allow changes to other settings and features in the same way as with privacy settings.

  1. Go to the "Settings" menu and select the "Screen Time" feature.
  2. Select the "Privacy and Content Restrictions" option. Enter a password if necessary.
  3. In the "Allow changes" section, select the features or settings that you can change, and then - "Allow" or "Do not allow".

Here are some settings and features that you can allow to change.

  • Passwords: Prevent passwords from being changed.
  • Accounts: Prevent changes to settings related to accounts and passwords.
  • Data transfer via cellular network: Prevent changes to settings related to cellular data.
  • Volume Limit: Prevent volume settings from being changed for safe listening.
  • Do Not Disturb Mode: Disable changes to Do Not Disturb Mode.
  • TV service provider: Prohibit changing the settings related to the TV service provider.
  • Work background programs: Prevent background programs from being modified.
  • Set up Family Sharing to share content with up to six people, and send and complete purchase requests with Ask to Buy.
  • You can also use the Restrictions feature on a Mac computer, Windows computer, and Apple device TV.
  • Learn how to disable in-app purchases or change credit card used in the iTunes Store.

Organizations and schools often use profiles to enable restrictions. To see if a profile is installed on your device, go to Settings > General > Profiles. For more information, contact your administrator or the person who set up the profile.

Hello everyone! An interesting situation happened to me recently - in order to respond to a comment, I needed to delve into the settings of my iPhone and see if it is possible to set restrictions on a certain program in iOS. As usual, I open "Settings - General - Restrictions", rest on the sign "Enter the restrictions passcode" and understand that I simply do not remember these cherished four digits!

Of course, in the end, everything ended well, but this situation made me think about this. Even if I, a person who constantly tinkers with the iPhone and iPad, somehow managed to forget the restrictions password, then what can we say about ordinary user, who uses this setting once a year, and even then on major holidays?

Most likely, many will not even remember the fact that they put this code at all. Not to mention some numbers there. And now what i can do? So and walk without access to all the settings? Of course not. There are two possible solutions to this problem. Go!

By the way, remember - there is no "factory", "factory", "standard" password. The code is set by the user himself when opening the restrictions settings for the first time.

There is only one way to remove the code without knowing it - through firmware recovery. There is nothing complicated in this:

But this method has drawbacks and very big ones:

  • Yes, you will get rid of the restriction password. But absolutely all information will also be deleted from the device!
  • Thinking about restoring data from a backup? Here, too, there are "troubles". After all, if the copy was created at the moment when the code was already installed, then when it is restored, the restrictions password will be returned to the device.

In general, the method is working, but not very convenient - there are too many reservations when using it. Fortunately, there are other options as well.

Yes it is possible. And most importantly, we don’t even need to strain our memory and remember forgotten password. Will do everything for us special program!

This very program "pulls out" the code from the backup. Accordingly, the computer must have at least one copy that includes the restriction password. If you don't have one yet, just create it right now through iTunes.

Victory! It remains only to remember them and never forget :) And finally, a few questions and answers:

  • Is this a safe program - can it be used at all? Can. Especially considering the fact that it is openly posted on GitHub (the world's largest resource for hosting IT projects and their joint development).
  • What versions of iOS does it work with? I tested the work on iOS 10, 11 and 12 - everything is fine. However, judging by the description, absolutely any firmware version starting from iOS 7 (inclusive) is supported.

As you can see, everything is very simple, multifunctional and safe. Nothing complicated! However, if something doesn’t work out for you or you still have some questions, be sure to write in the comments, we’ll try to figure it out together and find a solution!

Updated! I completely forgot one very important thing when using the PinFinder program. Since the password is “pulled out” from the backup, you need to remember this - this very backup should not be encrypted. Otherwise, PinFinder will swear and give an error. How to remove encryption? It's simple - we connect the iPhone, launch iTunes and uncheck the corresponding menu item.

However, on this moment this setting (encryption) is no longer relevant, since.

Updated 2! To be honest, I did not even expect such attention to my modest blog, but the author of the program (Gareth Watts) unsubscribed in the comments (for which many thanks to him!) And announced that a new version of PinFinder 1.6.0 was released. Declared support for encrypted backups - now it is not necessary to turn off encryption in iTunes in order to find out the iPhone restrictions password. Just super!

Updated 3! A new version of the program has been released - PinFinder 1.7.1. What's new? Appeared iOS support 12 - Now you can find out the "Screen Time Passcode" (formerly "Restrictions") without any problems. Hooray. True, in iOS 12, Apple slightly redesigned the security policy and now the Screen Time passcode can only be pulled from an encrypted backup. Remember this and be careful!

With the release of iOS 12, many users sounded the alarm when they couldn't find "Restrictions" in their iPhone settings. But do not despair. The developers did not delete this tab, but simply moved it to another location, adding many more options for restrictions.

Recall that earlier this item was located along this path: "Settings" - "General" - "Restrictions". Below in the screenshot you can see how it looked before. (this is iOS 9).

Now in the new iOS versions 12, this item is located in Screen Time, and is a separate setting for Content and Privacy. In general, the developers simply combined it with other related items to make it easier for the user to navigate between menus.

This is a separate settings item where you can choose which services and applications will be allowed and blocked access on the selected device. For example, you can easily restrict access to specific games, turn off GPS, prohibit access to the Apple Store without entering a password, use wireless networks, pay for purchases and much more.

This item is intended, rather, for parents whose children own Apple technology. This is a kind of control that will be carried out automatically.

As we said earlier, this item has been moved to the Screen Time tab. If you do not know what we are talking about, we advise you to read our material about this option, which describes in detail all its features and capabilities:

To access restrictions, follow these steps:

    Go to "Settings" of your device, go to "Screen Time";

After that, all the tabs that are in the same menu below will be available to you.

iTunes and Apple Store Purchases is the main tab for managing restrictions on Apple services. Here you can prohibit the installation of applications, the implementation of transactions, the removal of programs. You can also set a password request that will not allow you to perform any operations without entering.

Allowed programs - in the list of applications are only official programs from Apple, which are pre-installed in the system. You can disable the use of any of them, but, as practice shows, there is no particular need for this.

Content Restrictions is a separate tab that provides a huge number of settings. In principle, it completely copies the contents of the "Restrictions" that were in iOS 11. Here you can restrict watching movies and listening to music, select a qualification depending on the country, set an age limit for installing programs from the Apple Store, prohibit access to "adult sites in web browsers, block Game Center, and more. In general, if you need complete control over the child - this is exactly the point!

Privacy - here you can configure individual features of your iPhone when interacting with other programs. For example, you can disable the use of GPS, the microphone, the display of advertisements, the request for contacts, and many other options. Moreover, when viewing each option, you will be shown all the programs that have requested access to it.

Allow changes is last tab in restrictions, which is similar to the previous one. Here you can disable changes, for example, for the password, account, volume and other settings.

Attention! V previous version iOS, when entering the "Restrictions" item and activating it, the system set a password so that your child could not change any settings without your knowledge. In iOS 12, this item is now directly in Screen Time. Here you need to click on the "Use a passcode" tab and confirm the operation.

For maximum security Apple data traditionally occupies a leading position. She was the first to develop and implement a “fingerprint” entrance, remote blocking through the “Find” function and much more.

To cover unauthorized or young children from accessing private data on the iPhone, a special “restrictions” function is often used. As a result, the entrance to the iPhone will be closed. certain applications, selected by the owner, and they also cannot be deleted until a password is entered. This is a great way to further enhance the security of the data stored on the device.

In general, users do not have to enter the restriction password so often. It is because of this that he is forgotten the fastest. Moreover, many cannot even always remember whether they introduced it at all. Since the Apple eco-system involves a large number of multi-level protections, it is not easy to remember them all.

However, for some operations, you have to enter this same password. So what do you do when you can't remember it?

If nothing else was specified by the user, then the standard "factory" password consists of four zeros. Therefore, start the unlocking process with this combination. If this combination does not work, then you definitely entered a different access code. And now you either need to remember it by making associations, or try to crack it.

On its website (in the support section), the manufacturer assures us that if this password is forgotten, consider that everything is lost! And all that remains for the unfortunate user is to erase the iPhone, and then set it up as a new one. Since even restoring from backup copies will not lead to the removal of the password. However, this will erase the settings and all existing user data. And the subsequent attempt to restore (from the last copy) often fails to remove restrictions. Since this password has already been activated in the backup version used. This means that all related settings were successfully transferred back to the smartphone - right in the process of recovery.

But not everything is so depressing. Due to the fact that many people have encountered similar problems, "crutches" have been developed to eliminate them. Today, there are several completely legal ways to lift the restrictions. Yes, they do not always help and not for everyone, but it is definitely worth trying.

One of these methods has been "walking" on the Internet for a long time, and is to use the program - "iBackupBot". With the help of this cracking utility, you can try to remove the password. Because it allows you to make appropriate adjustments to the registries of the "backup" of data from the smartphone.

This option more suitable for advanced owners, since here you have to intervene in programming code, and not all the proposed algorithm of actions leads to the desired effect. Therefore, we warn you right away - if you are not sure of your capabilities, it’s better not to take it. Since this is associated with the risk of losing personal data, and erasing smartphone settings.

In any case, before resetting, you should refresh the version of the latest backup so that the largest number The data was then available for recovery.

However, this method cannot be called fast and convenient. Moreover, for many, after such manipulations, the smartphone was completely blocked. And as a result, you still have to reset the iPhone “to zero”, and when you try to restore, errors regularly occur.

Therefore, the question of finding alternative ways to deal with the ill-fated password is ripe.

There is another, much simpler and surer way that will save you from having to perform a troublesome reset procedure. This method will simply allow you to see this very password, so that later you can safely enter it in the smartphone settings. Do you want to know how to do it? Everything is simple.

So, to implement this procedure, we again need, in addition to the iPhone, also a computer. By the way, it does not really matter which system it is controlled by. The method works on all popular platforms - from Windows to Linux, and Mac.

Its execution algorithm is as follows. First you need to download from the git repository special application with an eloquent name - Pinfinder (if you have "iOS 10" installed on your smartphone - You need to download a version not lower than 1.5.0.).

In the list of available software options, choose the type of system that suits your computer and go! There are no restrictions when downloading, since this utility is distributed free of charge.
Now connect your iPhone with a cable to this trusted PC (or Mac), and create an up-to-date backup copy. This must be done, because. it is according to the “backup” data that the utility “calculates” the restrictive password.

This procedure is carried out, as always, with using iTunes. Only when choosing a place where exactly to create a copy - click on "This computer", and then on the "create copies" button. Wait for the end.
By the way, if this PC (or Mac) already has enough “fresh” backups from the iPhone, then there is no need to repeat this procedure again. Please note that this must be a copy in which the restriction restriction on the iOS device has already been activated. If the backup version is used from the time when the password was not set, the method may not work.

After that, just run the boot "pig" of this utility. When installation is complete, click on the application icon. The system will automatically start analyzing data from the iPhone "backup". Among other items, the password itself should also be displayed there.

Here, for example, how it all looks for Mac devices. In the list of data found, we are, in fact, interested in the line "Finding PIN". It is under it that the utility will highlight the desired code.
If you plan to perform this procedure on a Windows device, then everything will look like this:
Then all you have to do is simply enter the code obtained in this way into the corresponding iPhone menu (the path to it is shown below). After that, you can immediately deactivate the restrictions mode (or set another “cipher” that you definitely won’t forget). Thus, this method allows you not to immediately reset the restrictions, but simply to see the access code, so that later, as expected, enter it in the menu to unlock (or to change the password later).

We warn you that such a “trick” can only be done with a “trusted” PC with which the iPhone was previously paired and copies of the data were made. This is partly done for the sake of security, since, in otherwise, any outsider will be able to hack the sections of the menu that you have closed in this way. That is why "binding" and viewing data is carried out through registers from the "backup".

Once again, we emphasize - before starting the procedure for resetting (or forcing the display) of the password, be sure to take care of creating a "backup"! Even if you already have relatively "fresh" copies! No one can guarantee for sure that everything will go well.

Apple developers are constantly closing all possible loopholes and vulnerabilities in the system, which, in fact, are used by cracking utilities. As a result, methods that have been successful in the past may turn out to be at least ineffective. And even they can lead to self-locking of the gadget. And this is already much more serious than problems with the password restrictions.

So it's better to play it safe. And in general, the procedure for creating backups should be carried out regularly - before any intervention in the smartphone system, up to the next firmware updates. Just take it as a rule!

If you do not trust handwritten storage options, use special applications designed specifically for generating and storing created passwords. And then you will need to remember the password only from him alone. And all the rest can be viewed by entering the folder of this encryption application. It turns out, such a virtual safe.

The “Restrictions” function, or, as it is also called, “ Parental control”is the ability to restrict access for iPhone, iPad users to certain functions or programs on their iOS device.

Turns on given function simple enough. To do this, go to "Settings" - "General" - "Restrictions" and specify a password before activation.

With the Restrictions feature, you can prevent a child or teen, who is the primary user of the device, from accessing sites containing adult content, or, conversely, allow access only to specific sites, blocking all others.

You can also impose restrictions on music, movies, TV shows, books, programs, and even Siri, forbidding it to recognize swear words, for example.

In addition, the Restrictions feature can prevent you from changing your privacy settings for a number of services and programs, including Location Services, Contacts, Calendars, Photos, Bluetooth Sharing, and more.

The problem comes when set password restrictions are forgotten.

First of all, I would like to note that in order to perform this method, you need to acquire additional software - iBackupBot for iTunes, which is a program for managing iPhone, iPad or iPhone backups. iPod Touch.

To install iBackupBot, you need to go to a special product web page and download the version of the utility you need for Windows or Mac, trial version which is free to download and use.

After a simple installation and launch procedure, the user will see something like this:

We connect our device to the computer using a USB cable and launch iTunes. We go to "Edit" - "Settings" - "Devices" and delete all backup copies of your iPhone or iPad in order not to get confused later and make it easier for yourself to work further.

Then we create a new, fresh backup iPhone or iPad in iTunes by selecting the desired device in the sidebar and, in the "Browse" tab, click on the "Backup Now" button. Alternatively, you can click right click click on the device displayed in the left sidebar and select "Create a backup copy" in the menu that opens.

After I refused the purchase and entered the registration code, the contents of the file are opened to us, where we need to insert the following lines of code:

To insert lines of code, we are looking for a place where to copy them. For me it will be between 83 and 84 lines. We paste the lines of code and do not forget to save (the floppy disk icon in the upper right corner). Here's what it looks like before editing:

Four zeros indicated in the last line of code is our New password to the "Restrictions" function.

If you did everything correctly, after recovery, your restrictions password will become “0000”. If, when entering four zeros, the device tells you that the password is incorrect, then somewhere a mistake was made and the whole procedure will have to be repeated again.

A faster and easier way to recover the restrictions password with all the information saved is waiting for the owners of an iPhone or iPad with a jail. To do this, gadget owners will need the shareware iFile jailbreak application, which, of course, can be found in Cydia.

Forget all the hassle of iTunes, deleting and creating backups, and working with iBackupBot on your computer. If your iOS device is jailbroken, all you have to do is launch iFile directly on your iPhone or iPad and get to work.

We go to var - mobile - Library - Preferences and look for the already familiar com.apple.springboard.plist file, tap on it and select "Text Editor" in the menu that opens.

In the upper left panel we see the "Edit" button, tapping on which allows you to edit an existing code.

We select the lines of code we need and paste our own there, containing the numbers of the new restriction password:

As you can see, resetting a password is not a difficult thing, but under certain conditions, such as the desire to save all information on the device and the absence of a jailbreak, they can force the owner of an iPhone or iPad to devote some time to the process. Therefore, do not forget your passwords, train your memory or use some kind of aids to remember them.

“I want to reset passcode restriction on iPhone. Any help? Thank you!"

You basically landed on this page for the same reason, you need to reset iPhone restrictions access code, right? Well, don't worry, I will give you 4 step by step solutions to reset your restrictions password. But before that, let's go over some basic background knowledge about passcode restriction.

By setting a four-digit PIN (Personal Identification Number) to "Restrict" passcodes, parents can control which apps and features others, usually their child, can access.

Restrictions can be set for a number of things. For example, parents may choose to restrict access to the iTunes Store to prevent frivolous, inappropriate spending. Restrictions Passcode can be used to restrict such basic and many more complex things. It's a wide range of things worth some research and careful consideration.

How to reset passcode restriction on iPhone.

Now let me show you four simple ways password reset restrictions on iPhone device.

We all have different approaches to passwords / communication codes and the like. You should do what feels comfortable for you, in terms of your safety, and which includes having an access code that you will remember. It's not so much a solution, but if you want to change your passcode to something that will work better for you, it's easy to do.

Step 1. Click on Settings > General > Restrictions.

Settings > General. half way.

Step 2 Now enter existing password.

Step 3 When you click on Disable Restrictions, you will be prompted to enter your winnings with a password.

Settings > General. half way.

Step 4 Now when you 'Enable Restrictions' again, you will be prompted to enter a new password. Please don't forget about it!

The above should work, but you can try the following.

This solution requires the use of a computer.

First, you must understand that this method will not work with "Find My iPhone" enabled, as it gives additional security which is not useful in this situation. You have to go to "Settings" on your phone and toggle "Find My iPhone" off from under the "iCloud" menu.

Please note that you cannot bypass the lost Restrictions password issue when using any "Erase All Settings and Contents" change on the phone. If you try to go this route, you will be prompted to provide an Apple ID Passcode and Passcode Restrictions, the latter being the very thing you lost or forgot!

However, you can reset the password restriction by restoring from iTunes:

Step 1. Make sure Find My iPhone is disabled and back up your iPhone.

Step 2 Connect your iPhone to your computer using USB cable and launch iTunes. Make sure your iTunes is up to date latest version.

Step 3 Go to the "Summary" tab and then click on the "Restore iPhpne.

Step 4 When prompted for confirmation, click on the "Restore" button again.

Step 5 In the Update window, click Next and then Agree.

Step 6 Wait while iTunes downloads the latest iOS and restores iPhone.

Now you will be able to access the device without restriction password.

Before you follow these steps, you should be aware that doing so will result in data loss, so keep a backup that can be easily restored later. For this you need a tool like dr.fone - Backup & Restore (iOS) because if you are restoring from iTunes ( local computer) or iCloud (servers from Apple) Reserve copy, the same passcode, the one you forgot, will be restored to the device. You will be back in the position you started!

I wholeheartedly welcome everyone! In the first paragraph, out of habit, there will be “water”. No, but how else? Indeed, in "these your Internets" it is so accepted! First, the article must be told about what a cool service Apple Music is (because a huge number of people use it) and, my favorite, write this phrase ...

“Many users may face such a problem that some songs will not play on their beloved iPhone or iPad due to the so-called age restrictions. What is going on? How did it happen? How to remove this very age limit in Apple Music?

Sometimes you read such things and you don’t understand whether to cry or laugh.

Well, now that I've spoken out, we'll still start :)

I will be brief. The "error" itself looks like this.

What does it say? It's simple - the iPhone or iPad tells us that the content (songs, podcasts, videos) uses profanity or other unpleasant material.

What to do? To get started, the standard steps are:

Everything. After this procedure (according to Apple's logic), all restrictions on censorship will be lifted.

But it's Apple! :)

Therefore, "sometimes" small problems can arise. What's the problem? Ordinary ones ... you did everything right, but there is no happiness - the music still does not play due to the “age limit” error.

How to be? There are a couple of ideas:

  1. Check the age that you have specified for the account. If your Apple ID is set to a child age, you won't be able to access inappropriate content.
  2. Close the music app and restart iPhone ().
  3. Log out of Apple ID (Settings - iTunes Store and App Store) and log in again.

Made? Did not help? Then last chance.

Didn't help again? Then we perform the same operation with the Podcasts application.

That's all for sure now - after such pressure, any age restrictions should disappear and leave your iPhone (iPad) forever. They just don't have any other choice! :)

However, “should” does not mean “must”. So let's agree on this:

  1. If the article helped - do not be lazy to write a couple of lines in the comments. The author will be pleased.
  2. If nothing happened and there were some questions ... then all the more write in the comments. We will frantically investigate and, quite possibly, together we will find a solution to your problem!

Restrictions protect key settings from unauthorized changes. This is very convenient if, for example, the device is freely available to many people or a child. For example, a child can be prevented from installing new apps or, very importantly, from making in-app purchases.

How to turn on and set up restrictions on iPhone or iPad

To enable restrictions on your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings -> General -> Restrictions -> Enable Restrictions. When you first log in, you need to come up with and enter a password 2 times.

  • Mi Bank battery 10000mah, original! Only charges iPhone 6 and iPad Mini once. Why?
  • It is very important to remember this password. After that, you can configure restrictions, here are the main ones:

    • Prohibition of use Safari browser, camera, Siri or Facetime;
    • Prohibition of installation/removal of programs;
    • Prohibition of making in-app purchases in applications;
    • Prohibition of visiting certain sites, you can specify a list of sites allowed to visit;
    • Prohibition of changing your Apple ID account;
    • Prohibition of increasing the volume above the specified level.

To change the restrictions, you will need to enter the password that you defined earlier. But what if you forgot it? Read about it in the final part of our article.
