Configuration update 1C: Accounting 8.3 (version 3.0) may be needed in the following cases:

  • To correct errors in the program.
  • With the release of new regulated reporting.
  • With changes in legislation.

Consider the process manual update step by step:

1. Open the "Administration" section and click the "Support and maintenance" item ():

Scroll down to the "Program update results" section and select "Install updates":

In the processing that opens, in the lower left corner, click the "Search and install updates" link:

2. During the process, if required, enter the code user and password from the contract for ITS.

3. If a new version has been released, the program will tell you about it and offer to upgrade to it. Select the one you need in the "Details" section and click the "Next" button:

4. Wait while the update is downloaded from the 1C website.

5. In the update installation that opens, select the item opposite the "Backup copy" inscription.

6. Specify everything as in the picture below. This setting is necessary so that the program, before attempting to update, does backup and in case of errors during the update, rolled back to this copy. Instead of the second item, you can select "Create a backup copy and save it in the specified directory" and specify your directory with 1C archive copies. Click OK.

7. We are back to installing updates. Click next.

8. Wait for the configuration update 1C: Accounting 8.3 (version 3.0) to finish.

In the last article, we examined the procedure for updating the version of the 1C Enterprise 8.3 platform (Updating the 1C 8.3 platform). Now we will present to your attention two options for updating the 1C 8.3 configuration on our own, without involving third-party specialists, and we will do this using the example of a typical configuration Enterprise Accounting 3.0.

Note that the procedure is indicated for a typical configuration that does not contain system modifications, in otherwise We recommend that you seek support from competent specialists in order to avoid errors.

The first option is updating through the configurator.

First you need to download and install the update distribution kit of the corresponding release. The update file is available at https://users.v8.1c.ru/. The Download updates link opens a list of all available 1C updates. To download a new version of the configuration, you will need to expand the menu Typical configurations of 1C for Russia and find the line with the desired configuration. In the list of updates of the selected configuration, open the version for download and download the Update Distribution Kit.

After the distribution kit is downloaded, we find the updsetup.exe archive on our computer and unpack it into a separate folder. Among the files received after unpacking will be setup.exe, and it must be launched. This opens the configuration product installer. Click Next, confirming the need to install the data, then select (or leave the default) the template directory and click Next again. After the program displays a message about the successful installation of the configuration, click Finish.

The next step is to launch the database in the configurator mode. In the Configuration section, open the configuration.

Then, in the same section, go to the menu Support → Update configuration and specify the option to search for available updates as the update source, and then the search area for files.

If suitable versions are found, a list of them will be displayed, in bold the one that is the newest of all presented will be highlighted. Select the one you want and click Done.

After installing the updates, the system will offer to update the database configuration, confirm the action.

Option two - automatic update configuration 1C 8.3 in the Enterprise mode.

Start the database in Enterprise mode. The ability to more precisely control the amount of memory consumed by server worker processes is provided, which makes it possible to increase the resilience of the cluster to incautious user actions.
  • Licensing Services and external management sessions. The licensing service allows you to organize a centralized issuance of software client and server licenses, which greatly simplifies the task of deploying a server cluster in a virtual environment and dynamically changing the resources allocated to a server. The external session management service allows you to inform the external system about the start and end of a session, receiving in response permission or prohibition to start the session, which allows you to limit the number of users connecting to a particular infobase, keep track of the time the database is used by users, etc. Interaction external system performed via a web service.

  • Restructuring information bases v background. New Opportunity allows you to minimize the system downtime required to update application solutions. If earlier it was necessary to stop the work of users for the entire duration of the restructuring of the infobase, now the bulk of the changes are performed in the background, and the termination of the work of users is required only at the final short phase of the restructuring. This approach makes it possible to reduce system downtime not even by several times, but by orders of magnitude, thereby increasing the level of system availability, which is especially important for cloud services and large-scale deployments with large databases. Background restructuring can be performed incrementally, with interruptions, which allows you to free up computing power during periods of peak load on working system, and run restructuring when the system is not loaded, for example, at night and on weekends.
  • Security profiles. If a service provider provides Internet access to 1C:Enterprise application solutions developed by third-party vendors, it cannot always control the reliability of such solutions. At the same time, it must ensure the uninterrupted operation of the service as a whole and other application solutions provided as part of this service. For this purpose, security profiles have been implemented in the 1C:Enterprise version 8.3 server cluster. They prohibit the application solution from performing actions that are potentially dangerous for the functioning of the server cluster and the entire service, such as:
    • appeal to file system servers;
    • launch of COM-objects, external processing and reports, applications installed on the server;
    • using external 1C:Enterprise components;
    • access to Internet resources.
  • Platform version 8.3 received new interface applications "Taxi", more convenient and visual. It implements a number of new approaches to working with applied solutions, including:
    • The functions necessary for convenient navigation through the application are implemented in several auxiliary panels: tools, favorites, history, etc.;
    • The application solution developer can set some standard composition and arrangement of these panels in accordance with the purpose and features of the application;
    • The user can design his own working space, placing panels in different areas of the screen. For example, you can create a "minimalistic" workplace, leaving only the toolbar on the screen, while all the functions of navigating the application solution will remain available using it. Or you can place several panels on the screen at once, providing yourself with a variety and quick opportunities navigate to various functions of the application.
    • Any section, list, database object, report or processing, as well as a command, can be added to "favorites" so that later, if necessary, you can quickly return to them.
  • Among the interface innovations of the new version of the platform, one can also note:
    • Interface operation option without using modal windows. In this mode, new browser windows are not opened, which increases the convenience, performance and stability of work through the web client, allows you to work with 1C:Enterprise applications through a browser on any mobile devices;
    • simplification of setting up lists;
    • a new line-by-line input mechanism that significantly speeds up data retrieval.
  • Performance optimization. Improvements have affected client workstations, a server cluster, mechanisms for interacting with various DBMS, and working with memory. To optimize work with the DBMS, the largest amount of work was carried out for Microsoft SQL Server, including providing support for working with latest version Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
  • Improvements to application development tools. The ability to load / unload 1C configurations (structure and data) as a set of files is provided. The uploaded data is stored in the XML format. Possibilities for organizing program code have been expanded by selecting and grouping arbitrary text areas in the module editor. The developer can give each area its own name, which makes programming code more readable. Improved context hint - now it is also displayed when parameters of procedures and functions are set, indicating their types and options syntax. Also, the context tooltip implements automatic recognition and display of developer comments compiled in accordance with development standards - when typing the name of a procedure or function, extended information is shown on its purpose and use cases, and when typing a parameter, on this particular parameter. In order to provide developers with a convenient tool for quick contextual search for information on topics of interest, the Syntax Assistant has added links to collections of methodological materials on relevant topics, regularly updated on the specialized 1C Internet resource.
  • Automated testing. The new mechanism allows you to perform automated testing of applied solutions using algorithms described in the built-in language. Also implemented is the ability to record interactive user actions to a file for their subsequent analysis, or to form an automated test based on them.
  • Expanded functionality and visual possibilities reporting, new presentational features of business charts, additional statistical and aggregate functions, such as ABC.
  • Working with external data sources is much closer in functionality and convenience to standard configuration objects. Data from external sources can be placed in temporary tables for use in complex queries, used as separators in cloud applications, you can programmatically override forms to view them. It also became possible to connect multidimensional data sources, such as Microsoft Analysis Services, Oracle Essbase, IBM InfoSphere Warehouse.
  • A special mode of compatibility of infobases with previous versions. It allows using application solutions developed on the 1C:Enterprise platform versions 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2 without additional processing. The compatibility mode also allows you to downgrade the platform from version 8.3 to 8.2 if necessary. In order to use all the features of version 8.3, solutions created on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform need more early versions, you will need to make minor changes.
